PalmOne m100 Series Slim Leather Carrying Case
On the other hand, the new owner is absolutely thrilled with the quality of the leather and fascinated by the use of velcro to attach the Palm to the case. Moreover, she works her Palm on flat surfaces where the extra leather to the left is less bothersome than my approach of holding the Palm in mid-air. Conclusion? Try looking at this case open before you buy to be sure it suits your style. This case is the BEST investment for your Palm you'll ever make. I am a neat freak and was worried about finding something that I would like that wasn't clumsy or bulkly for my new Palm m100 and I found it. It is real leather! Soft foam padding protects the Palm and love the slots for the credit cards/business cards. It is real professional looking. I always get comments. Definately a wise investment.

I bought the slim leather case about 5 days ago. Here is what I think about it:Pros: professional looking, quality leather, card slots nice addition
Con: case makes the Palm bulky, stylus is difficult to reach once Palm is fastened to the case, the location of the snap(leather strip)on the right is awkward. It hangs over the screen of the palm and can be anoying. Might be better if snap was locatd on the left.

I love the look and function of the leather case, and it is perfect padded protection for a purse or backpack. BUT...I almost decided against it, because it is so awkward to retrieve the stylus. In part it may be due to my left-handedness, but it still is a struggle to reach under to the right and pull the stylus loose. I wish the case had been designed with a stylus holder down the centerfold. This should definitely be considered with a redesign.Want PalmOne m100 Series Slim Leather Carrying Case Discount?
I am acutely aware of how fragile a small electronic device can be having dropped my cell phone on numerous occasions, I have found that a protective cover isn't just sylish, but a complete necessity if you want your items to last -and with what they cost, I need to squeeze as much use out of mine as possible.I looked around for quite awhile before I purchased mine, and I went with this particular model mostly because it was designed specifically for the entire m-class of Palm Pilots (I personally have the m125). I love the look of this carrying case, and yes, it IS made of real leather. It has now entirely replaced my wallet thanks to the pockets inside which can hold my credit cards, drivers license and cash (if I'm ever fortunate enough to actually GET some from the missus...). Because of the Palm inside I don't feel comfortable putting it in my back pocket like I did my old wallet, and since mine did not come with a belt clip, I bought the same model I use for my cell phone and it works like a charm (now if I can only remember to take it off before I sit down on it in the car...). The velcro snap on my particular model has worked perfectly since the moment I opened it up, and see no future problem resulting since it seems to be well stitched on in the back.
All in all, if you have an m-class Palm product, don't just rely on the semi-rubber flip cover that it comes with, buy one of these slim leather carrying cases and you will increase the life & reduce the wear of your product significantly -especially if you fumble with your pilot as much as I do. There are many different types of cases available, and I would imagine most do a great job of protecting your Pilot...but for this specific model, I can honestly say mine was 100% worth the cost.

Targus PA820U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for HP Jornada
It folds and unfolds easily and quickly. Its very sturdily build and of high quality. The little wire and plastic flipout that props up the journada seems flimsy at first, but I've had no problem what so ever with it. One minor drawback is that you do need a flat surface to make it work. You can't use it on your lap. Other than that, this is just like using a full-sized keyboard except that you can fold it up and put it in your pocket!Great product. Very durable and works really well. Its about the same size as your Jornado (a little wider) and fits in your pocket easily. the main keyboard folds out quickly and the dock connector slides out and up to posistion the Jornado perfectly. Very James Bond. as for power consumption, I have not noticed any major drain. The Stowaway also comes with some additional features. Hotkeys that you can program to open 8 different functions. A windows style start key. A power plug in so you you can charge the jornado while typeing. All in all a very cool, very well thought out product. I recomend it highly.

I have purchased my Targus Stowaway keyboard a couple of days ago off eBay, ...I have been using it for about three days to chat, type in notes, and respond to e-mails. It has definitely turned my PDA into a notebook. You would be able to perform anything with your PDA and a keyboard, as your productivity will certainly increase. You will normally be able to input 10 to 20 words per minute using the built in character recognizer, however you might now be able to type in at least three to four times faster than that!!!
The keyboard when unfolded, resembles an IBM Thinkpad notebook keyboard: black keys with white characters. The cursor keys are located at the right side, and their layout is the same as that on regular keyboards. In order to Page Up, Down, Home and End, you must press the blue 'Fn' key located to the left of the spacebar.
Folding and unfolding the keyboard is just wonderful. Measuring 13.8" WIDE when fully deployed, it just folds back to a mere 6". Neatly packed, it would be roughly the same size as your PDA, but a little thicker.
The keyboard folds in a shape that resembles the letter "W". You pull away the two black and red handles to the edges of the keyboard's case, tuck in the middle so as to have it raised. Crunch the end locks and there you go. Your keyboard is now neatly packed.
In order to connect your PDA to it, the keyboard has got a built in docking port that tilts forwards and backwards, so that you can adjust it to have a nice viewing angle for you PDA while typing. Slide a metal and plastic retractable foot, as to have the back of your PDA rest there in a slanted position. This pedestal is made of metal, and it looks quite solid, with the exception of the plastic pedestal.
You also get four dedicated application access keys, from which you can launch Inbox, Contacts, Calendar and Tasks. Press 'Fn' plus these keys, and you will be able to access Notes, Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, and Microsoft Money. The functionality for these keys is hardcoded into the software driver, so you will not be able to change what applications they launch.
The keyboard keys are normal size, and the feel is a little mushy, characteristic of a laptop keyboard. Key travel is identical to that of a laptop keyboard. Touch typists (like me) would sometimes need to punch in the keys a little harder, I think it is just a matter of time.
The right side of the keyboard is somewhat cramped, it is easy at first to confuse the right shift for the right cursor keys, which lie next to each other.
Keyboard driver is very easy to use, and allows you to 'Hot Dock' and play with the keyboard as to just start typing. No need to turn off/turn on your unit to have the keyboard recognized.
The software driver also allows you to configure up to 10 different application/document launch shortcuts, by pressing the 'Fn' and a number (from 1 through 0).
Overall, I am very satisfied with how this keyboard has improved productivity for me, and I think this is still the best engineered PDA keyboard on the market, no wonder why they have won several design awards.

I must say, the Stowaway keyboard is an absolute dream. It folds into a size barely bigger than the Jornada itself, yet it features luxurious full size keys that will make any H/PC user green with envy. It includes a small passthrough port on the back to connect the Jornada's AC adaptor, as well. And since the compact flash slot isn't used or blocked by the keyboard, a modem can be used simultaneously for the ultimate portable internet experience. The only downfall of the keyboard is that it's difficult at best to use on an uneven surface, such as a lap. On a flat surface, it's as good as if not better than any laptop keyboard. In fact, I rarely carry my laptop with me now. And for those who are curious, yes the keyboard works very well in games that support low level key scan codes, including Doom, several NES emulators, and others.Want Targus PA820U Stowaway Portable Keyboard for HP Jornada Discount?
I owned my Jornada 548 for about a month before I broke down and bought a keyboard. After laying out about $500 for the Jornada, another $100 for a peripheral seemed pretty steep ... until I started trying to use the handwriting tools (not bad if you have consistent handwriting habits) and the on-screen keyboard. Neither seemed to work really well for me, so I broke down and bought a Targus keyboard. It really has worked well for me, but it's not as good as it could be.The concept is great the keyboard folds up to the size of the 548 when it's not in use, but unfolds to the size of a laptop keyboard when you're ready to use it. The keyboard has a connector that sits at about a 45-degree angle and plugs into the Jornada, plus a little metal bar and plastic piece that supports the Jornada when it's plugged in. There is also a place to plug in a power supply so that you can keep your Jornada plugged in, and two small wells in the corners of the keyboard to hold a stylus.
The keyboard itself works well, with function keys for some common commands across applications (OK, Esc, power off) and other keys that can be programmed to start up specific applications. In addition, certain characters like the forward and backward slashes (/ and \) cannot be written in the single-character recognizer because the stylus strokes are used for other purposes, so the keyboard helps take care of that. Because the keyboard is laid out like a laptop keyboard, you don't need to relearn most of your typing, as long as you remember that you can't use function keys like you do on your laptop.
One thing it won't do, however, is select menu items with shortcuts, as you can do in Windows proper, but this is a Windows CE issue, not a keyboard issue. Another slight drawback is that the Jornada interprets your use of the keyboard as using the on-screen keyboard, so it displays the on-screen keyboard for you, which then takes up the lower third of your screen.
I've also had a couple of issues with the keyboard one is that the support for the Jornada is not great, so you have to use two hands to turn it on with the power button, and the other is that the keyboard occasionally freezes up. I've been able to correct it either by activating the special keyboard application, disabling the keyboard, and re-enabling it, or by using the on-screen keyboard to type a letter. Neither is a real show-stopper, but they certainly are annoyances.
Overall, the keyboard is a great time-saver, and it will certainly draw attention, especially when you fold it up and store it. The size of the keyboard and PC combined may be a drawback for some, and the way in which it works could be a little better. I'd still recommend it if you intend to do a lot of typing on your Jornada.

This is only a class two card. As such it performs exactly as expected.I'm not using this for anything incredibly speed sensitive. I ripped my daughters DVDs to MPEG4 files, scaled them down to PSP size standards, took them down to 96 KBps audio, put over 50 of them on this card along with some shorts and included music videos. Now my daughters cheaper than a portable DVD player without the risk of scratching or inconvenience carrying disk netbook with only a 4GB SSD is good to go. When we make a long road trip she's got plenty of movies, which is exactly what this was bought for.
If you're expecting to record live HD video don't even consider this card. It works reliably at the speeds it's expected to work out, the published class 2 speeds.
Class 2 Minimum of 2 MB/s performance. Lowest speed for SDHC cards.

Thought Out PED3-U iPhone, Android, Samsung Galaxy, Steel Stand
I watch a lot of TV via the slingbox and the stand holds the phone at a fantastic viewing angle.
Totally worth getting and I'm seriously considering getting another one.
You will *NOT* be disappointed! If you're looking for an elegant way to keep your smartphone-ish device out of your pocket, go ahead and add this to your cart. The cutout on the back of the stand allows you to easily thread a power cable to your device and the flat surface that serves as the base of stand allows you to reclaim that space. I wish the base of the stand were a bit heavier when I try to use my phone while on the stand it tends to rock backward. This should not dissuade you from purchasing this product an external hard drive, wallet or something of that weight placed on the base of the stand will easily make this one of your most cherished, and simple, tech accessories. Tested with a Nexus One, Treo 700 and an iPod Touch all fit very well.

I think this is an excellent stand. So much so, that I've bought two, one for home and one for the office. Vertically or horizontally, the iPhone rests in it wonderfully. I purchased this stand so that my girlfriend and I could plug our iPhones into the speakers we have in the bathroom without leaving the phone sitting on the sink or a shelf. I didn't need all the extra junk that most stands here provide, and this is the perfect solution. It's a solid stand, nice and heavy with rubber sleeves on the nubs where your phone rests. It's quick and easy to place your phone in the stand, and the viewing angle is great for watching movies, facetime, etc. Not only did this turn out to be exactly what I needed for the bathroom, but I'm probably going to order one or two more for other locations in the house.
I'm very pleased with this product.

Acer Predator AG3620-UR318 Gaming Desktop (Black)
So, nice computer, works great. Love the SSD...Windows starts in about 5 seconds. I gave it 4 stars due to very basic mother board and no expansion slots.Very impressed the Predator. I'm not using it for gaming but Photoshop and as a house server. The C is a flash drive and just load my programs on it. I still have 50 GB to spare and it loads programs very fast. I use the spin drive to store my movies, music and photos. I also inserted my own 80 GB drive in the expandable drive which just meant pulling out the drive cradle, inserting my new drive, pushing it back in and powering up. One important factor to set up this computer out of the box is that you either need an HDMI or DVI cable as the VGA port is disabled.
Windows 8 is not that difficult either on a PC. I installed a "start Menu" application so it works just like any previous windows version so I can group and categorize my app's.

I spent a lot of time looking at different tower PCs. I looked closely at the iMac but to be honest it is overpriced for what is actually inside the machine. I was very close to ordering a custom PC but then came across the Acer Predator on Amazon. It had everything I was after. A good motherboard, plenty of RAM and harddrive capacity plus geared towards gaming. In addition it comes with SSD memory which I now realise is a real advantage. The only issue I had was learning how to make best use of the SSD vs. harddrive, but it wasn't really a big deal. Now I have all my programs on the SSD and my photos, music, etc. on the harddrive. This makes it very fast and much quicker at start-up after the PC has gone to sleep, etc. The PC is very quiet as the hardrive is used less and the fans don't kick in so much. Graphics are good I run Guild Wars 2 with no problems, plus multi-tasking is no issue either. No comment on Windows 8!
