RII Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard (Built-in TouchPad/Laser Pointer) - Black

RII Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard - BlackThis is a great little Bluetooth keyboard. As other reviewers have stated it's a little tricky to set up the phone on android (and Windows 7). The instruction booklet that came with the keyboard said there is an "android.apk" to install on Android, this isn't true (they are only drivers for Windows Mobile and Nokia). It's an easy work-around though.

Pairing Android:

1) Turn on the keyboard and long press the bluetooth key on the top left till the indicator light starts blinking

2) Click scan for devices on your Android device

3) Select the newly found Macro Keyboard

4) Enter "0000" as the pairing code on your android

5) Enter "0000" and then the "Enter" key on the keyboard to complete the pairing process.

When pairing with Windows 7 if your Bluetooth drivers create a pairing code automatically for you just enter the code shown in Windows on the keyboard followed by the enter key (or just type whatever pairing code you want in Windows and repeat it on the keyboard).

All-in-all this is a great little keyboard. I would have given it 5 stars if it did actually come with the android drivers and had better documentation.

I'm looking for a driver that will create a visual mouse cursor on my Droid X to make better use of the touchpad. If I find one I'll post it here!

Also, to go back a page in Android hit the Esc key not the Back key... just fyi...

I bought the ProMini wireless keyboard to control my "low tech media center". I say low tech because my media center is just a spare computer hidden in my entertainment center connected to my big screen tv.

For this the wireless keyboard works PERFECTLY! I can watch streaming videos from the internet on the big screen while lying on the couch.

*** Note ***

THE PROMINI BLUETOOTH WIRELESS KEYBOARD COMES WITH A BLUETOOTH ADAPTER.

It doesn't say this in the description or in the documentation. The manual mentions an "optional" bluetooth adapter. It's embedded in the side of the keyboard.

Unfortunately I found it a couple of hours AFTER I ordered the bluetooth adapter recommended to buy with the keyboard. Too late to cancel the order.

***UPDATE: So I've been using this thing for a couple of months now and I really have to say that the range that they are claiming is just a farce. As long as you have a direct line of site and don't cover up the antenna (which is located above the track pad) then you might get 20 feet, but it's very doubt full. you'll start getting a lot of miss-keys and the track pad becomes almost useless. However, this is the only feature that I think was over stated. The rest is absolutely perfect and I just bought another one. Just please don't think that it will work through walls or from more than 10-12 feet. *****

I'm writimg this review usimg my new Rii Mini. First there seems to be a little confusion about the name of this product. the description calls it a ProMini, on the web you will find it referred to as the MagicPro Mini and the box it comes in calls it the Rii Mini. So for the purposes of this review I'm just goimg to refer to it as the Rii.

next, just as a piece of background, i got this for use with my HTPC. my monitor is my 46" plasma in my livingroom and i wanted something that would mean i didnt have juggle my mouse and keayboard around on the couch.

Lets talk about the CONS first, because that list is much shorter.

RANGE: so i found that the "30" feet claim is pretty much bupkiss, but who can see from 30 feet? at a range of about 10-12, the distance from my couch to my TV it works like a dream.

SIZE: this is both a pro and a con. i love how small it is but the placement of the trackpad on the right make typimg very difficult unless you an avid txt'er, which i am, so ive adapted pretty quickly. but its definitely something that could have been better thought out. also, the trackpad is just a shade too small so there's a lot of repositioning. finally, im not proof readimg this review because im illustrating the point that if you're going to be typimg a great deal, you're prolly goimg to end up with som significant typos.

BACK-LIGHT: finally, i have very little bad to say about the backlight. it just needs a timer and most importantly YOUR BACKLIGHT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU ARE OUT OF RANGE OF THE BLUTOOTH RECEIVER... no its not defective, its just made that way. im really glad i figured that out before trying to return it.

Now to the pros.... all i can do is say i really love this thing. the backlight makes it perfect for use in the dark, im kind of a cave dwelling techno nerd so i never have any lights on. the buttons on the keyboard are big enough and resposive enough to accomodate even the largest fingers, my friend "tiny" who is 6'7 was able to use it passably. i love that it works just like a normal keyboard. if you hit alt+F4, it closes windows just like its supposed to and Ctrl+c and +v copy and past just like they should. Alt+Tab works perfectly as well.

the built in media keys seem to work great with VLC, i never use WMP because its the devil. the track pad is actually pretty well made. its a little touchy and does have a built in acceleration. but once you adapt to it, its really pretty nice. you just have to get used to the fact that you're going to be using two hands for a lot of things. the 90 degree flip is kinda neat too. not sure its really usefull unless youre presenting, but its a cute idea.

i love the laser pointer, but then thats because im a cat owner and there is no better cat toy. otherwise i think it would be a feature that most people wont ever use.

set up is really pretty simple. since its bluetooth, its a little more complicated but you just habe to tell windows to do a seach for bluetooth devices when the icon appears in your system try and then mash the bluetooth button on the keyboard so they sync. all-in-all, not real tough.

In shourt i got this because i didnt wanna shell out the $100+ for the diNovo Mini and so far im really happy with it. i would definitely recomend it. the only reason it isnt 5 stars is because my wrist is really startimg to get sore from all this typing. but if your looking for somthing to make your HTPC a lot more fum, this is the business.

This product has instructions on setting it up to work with an android device. After installing the apk you have to activate it. Well the activation didn't work for me and I have found that there are a lot of other people having the same issue. It says to make sure your connected to the internet. I have data and even turned on WIFI. I read a comment that the company ran out of licenses for the software on android. I am going to have to contact the manufacturer to verify. The website at has little information and looks like it was thrown together real fast. This has me worried about support.

In windows 7 the keyboard works ok. It was tricky to get it working and there were some response delays. I love how it's back lit. When using the touch pad the pointer does not move smoothly like it would with a laptop touch pad. Still I find the product useful and do not regret buying it. For a presenter it would be nice to have the device, could easily put in in your pocket and the laser is handy. I think it will be good for my ps3 so long as it works. Haven't tried that yet. After further testing I have found that the range is very short compared to other bluetooth devices. On the Mac the response is much better, but you have to be within about 5 feet, you can go slightly further but then you start seeing problems.

I use this keyboard in a repair shop to program the fuel injection units on motorcycles. I beat up my laptop alot less using this and best of all it fits in my pocket when I need my hands!

The keyboard is very well made and the range is great!

MSI X460DX-008US: 14Inch HD (1366x768) Laptop, 2.1Ghz Core i3-2310M, NVIDIA GeForce GT540M, 4GB DDR

MSI X460DX-008US: 14Inch HD Laptop, 2.1Ghz Core i3-2310M, NVIDIA GeForce GT540M, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD SuperMilti DriveI have been using this laptop for about a month now, and have really enjoyed it. The performance is great, even with just the i3 processor. I have been able to run some fairly intensive games on it, running Witcher 2 at medium settings yields about 30 fps, which while not great, is playable and still looks nice. One annoyance on this front is the aggressive throttling that occurs when running off battery power, making it impossible to play anything that uses the dedicated graphics card when not plugged in to a wall outlet. For instance, I was playing an older game (Railroad Tycoon 3) off the integrated Intel graphics on battery fine, but if I switched it to the Nvidia graphics, the gameplay stutters.

Another issue I have come across is the placement of some of the keys on the keyboard. The right shift key is smaller than on a full size keyboard, with the up arrow right next to it. Many times while typing, I will accidentally hit the up key instead of shift. This also occurs with the small backspace key, where I will often hit the home key instead. Otherwise, the keyboard performs well. It has a nice action without a lot of noise.

The touchpad works well, especially with the included drivers. It enables multitouch much like a Macbook does (I bought this after selling my Macbook Pro). Not quite as smooth as the Macbook, but things like three finger left swipe takes you back in the browser. Pinch to zoom also works, although again not as smooth as what a Macbook has. Two finger scrolling also works well. An issue I have come across is the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the touchpad will sometimes activate when I don't want it to, scrolling me over instead of selecting what I want. It took some getting used to.

Otherwise, the screen looks great and has good brightness when turned all the way up. Seat-of-the-pants feeling places battery life on par with the MBP. I can get a good 6-7 hours out of word processing and web browsing.

Finally, the fit and finish of this are good, better than what I have seen from other manufacturers. The weight is not too heavy. It feels lighter than the MBP, but not as well built. The body is thin, and overall it is easy to carry around.

I took one star off because of the throttling on battery without a way to turn it off, as well as the keyboard design. Without those two things, it would have been five stars.

Note: This is actually about the MSI X460DX-216US which has apparently been discontinued http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005WPUNU0/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00 but MSI has done such an awful job with customer service that I wanted to write a review on the closest model I could find.

1/20/12: Purchased MSI laptop. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. Plus it was less expensive than a comparable Dell, and it ran computer drafting programs and 3D graphics games pretty well! Especially for the cost.

6/25/12: Laptop suddenly developed a problem where, if picked up or if resting my wrists on the empty space on either side of the touchpad, the laptop turns itself off. Tried this with and without the battery while plugged in and not plugged in and it happens consistently under all conditions. Since I was out of town at the time, I just used my laptop very delicately while placing it on a desk instead of my lap.

8/15/12: Finally home. Tested a theory where I hooked up the laptop to an external monitor and used a wireless keyboard and mouse. Laptop ran without any shutdowns for well over a week (never powered off). This confirms to me that it is something within the laptop that has a loose connection.

9/3/12: Went to MSI customer support and arranged an RMA online. It was quick and painless. Things are looking up!

9/17/12: On the MSI RMA status website, my laptop is indicated as "Your RMA has been received and is now in replacement, testing, or repair process."

9/21/12: MSI called me to tell me that they can't replicate the problem. I told them that they're insane because the problem occurred for me every time I would pick up the laptop. I told them so and they said they would look into it.

10/3/12: The MSI RMA status website has not changed. Called MSI to ask where my laptop is. After being on the phone for a half hour, I was told I would be emailed with more information. Apparently they have been waiting for a replacement motherboard and my laptop will be shipped out on 10/17/12.

10/24/12: The MSI RMA status website has not changed. I do not have a laptop. Called MSI to ask where my laptop is. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, a recording told me to leave a voicemail. I left a very irritated voicemail. Then I sent an irritated email as a reply to the email that told me the laptop would be shipped out a week ago. Then I went to Amazon.com to write an angry review.

TL;DR version:

MSI Customer service is a joke. They have had my laptop for over a month and a half for what seems to me to be a very obvious diagnosis. This was my first MSI laptop I usually buy Dell. Dell had amazing customer service and they would promptly fix my problems whenever they arose. Dell would have shipped me a brand new laptop by now. One time I sent in my Dell (desktop) computer for repair and since that model was discontinued, they sent me the newer model, which was a thorough upgrade that I got entirely free of charge. THAT is customer service. Dell, I am sorry for abandoning you. MSI, words cannot fully express my disappointment. You have failed me for the last time.

This laptop delivers good performance for the price however it does not last at all. From opening and closing the lid the hinge magically breaks and eventually the monitor backing separates like it was cheaply glued together. Seeing that I am currently outside of the US I can't simply return it. I was trying to cope with the broken hinge until the webcam seems to have stopped working and now two out of my three USB ports seem to be gone as well. And this is after owning it for about 4-5 months.

Great looking laptop but S***TY QUALITY

WASTE OF MONEY, WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING MSI AGAIN -_-

Bought the laptop for a friend who needed a gaming laptop. The laptop was a great deal, pretty much half price to other comparable laptops. Runs D3 on high and runs smoothly.

I liked the layout of the laptop, I liked the functional buttons, very well thought out.

The glossy surface of the keypad shows some fingerprints but it didn't really bother me.

Great value, well designed gaming laptop.

Would 100% recommend.

I was having some difficulty while shopping around town for a case for my new TF300T tablet & had finally pinned it down to this case and a few others on Amazon. I decided to pull the trigger on this particular product because of the extra items included along with the case at a very minimal cost difference compared to the other products I was considering. I definitely don't regret my decision after receiving & using this case for over a month now.

I had some slight difficulties when I first received this case & put the tablet into it because it was an extremely tight fit, but I didn't really view that as a negative myself. There were plenty of screen protectors included in the package & I was able to apply the first 1 I tried well enough to keep with it and save all of the others. The stylus isn't anything special & I haven't used it much, but that's more personal usage than a defect in the product itself.

The case itself looks nice and has held up well thus far. The only real complaint I can come up with regarding it is that closing the cover & the tab that secures it connects directly to the tablet & I'm not crazy about manipulating the tablet in order to snap the case shut. Hasn't created any issues so far but it's definitely something I'm going to keep an eye on.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase & I would definitely recommend this package to any TF300T owner looking to protect their device.

I didn't not have time to run around to get the accessories I needed for my new ASUS tablet, so I searched the Net to find this 3 in 1 deal. The first seller I used sold out of their cases, so I found this seller. It seemed like it shipped super fast even though I paid for standard shipping. The case is nothing fancy, but sturdy and attractive. I had to figure out how to apply the protector, but finally did and the stylus is fine. You just can't beat the price. Thank you!

Arkon CM927 Bicycle Handlebar Universal PDA Mount

Arkon CM927 Bicycle Handlebar Universal PDA MountI've been looking for a while for an iphone bike mount that fits the handle bar of my bicycle and that tightly holds the iphone. I bought this one and was able to install it without any problem. I have a brand new 38GB iphone and luckily bought a hard case for it. After installing the bike mount I went for my first bike ride to work. The trail is paved all the way and there are minor bumps. When I got to the section where there are slight bumps I notice the vibration on the bike mount and then saw how the iphone went flying and fell on the pavement. Luckily, nothing happened to the phone. I thought that it was not tight enough, tried it again, and it fell again. I tired it once more two days later and it fell again. Don't recommend buying this product based on this very unpleasent experience.

I've been using this one for almost a year now and had only couple of troubles for this time. The reason for all of them was me not checking that side sliders are pushed tightly to the PDA. Well, this holder doesn't have any rain or fall protection but it's lightweight, slim and still solid, comparing to protective holders.

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Ultra Clear Shield for Apple iPod Touch 2010 (4th Generation) +

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Ultra Clear Shield for Apple iPod Touch 2010 + Lifetime WarrantyThis product was shipped within 3 days of ordering it, was beautiful how quickly it came

Unlike the other reviews that this product has received, I actually got the right product the first time around. The outline and the hole for the camera and button are correct and practically exact.

Now unlike other films/screen protectors, you will only receive ONE film, so your margin of error is going to be smaller than getting a 2 or 3 pack. Application is not as easy as just setting it on the screen as close to target as possible, but is done using a liquid solution that is provided by skinomi, that you apply to your fingers and to the screen. This allows for less than perfect application with adjustment, but really you should try setting it down as perfectly as possible anyways.

The kicker is of course the fact that once you've positioned it perfectly, you actually have to wait anywhere between 12-24 hrs so that the liquid dries off. That's right, up to 24 hrs without so much as turning on that iPod of yours. Now for the impatient of us, this is some sick waiting period.

Now I picked mine up after 18 hrs, and it looked as if there was never as liquid at all. Surprised, I turned it on, and there wasn't that much of a perceptible difference in how the screen/images looked. The screen felt smooth, and didn't dirty as easily. The best part? I intentionally scratched the screen. nails and light key passes. It appears at least for the key passes, but heals pretty quickly.

Using it for the past 2 days, I don't see anything wrong with it, for those who are hard on their electronics, this is probably worth the price and application procedure, if not a bargain. As to those that want a fast screen protector that can be used right after application, with the harshest thing their screens ever suffer from is your greasy fingers, best to look for another one.

This screen protector has no cut-outs and really IS over-sized for the screen, I have some hanging off the edge, was a pain to install since it didn't fit the ipod touch. I'm assuming I was sent a different product, this is hopefully where lifetime replacements come in handy!!

*After emailing skinomi's support they immediately sent a replacement free of charge, The company seems to be aware of the problem.

The quality is really high, I even scratched it with my fingernail and it actually disappeared later on! It is really clear after the wait-period and it is smooth to the touch!*

I only gave this four stars in the "ease of application" section because I've yet to find a screen saver that's easy to apply. However...this is easier than most. The spray makes it easy to get the screen saver in the right position because you can slip it around till you get it right. I don't have any bubbles because of this, and no lint particles stuck underneath either.

As for durability, it's great. I got a new iPod Touch mid-December and after only three days the internal speaker blew. I had already applied the screen saver, but decided to pull it off to see if I could reuse it. It looked a little funky and misshapen, but I washed it clean with soap & water. Once I exchanged my broken iPod Touch for a new one I reapplied the screen saver and it worked just fine. I've had it for almost a month now and it's not lifting up the screen looks great. Highly recommend.

This screen protector may have a few more steps for installation and require a bit of patience for the curing process, but it is well worth it. The application process was easy enough; just spray your fingers and the protector with the included solution, position on the device, squeegee the excess solution away, and wait a few hours before using. Any microbubbles or orange peel texture diminishes over a few days. The cutout for the home button was slightly too large in diameter, but alignment for it and the front facing camera is spot on. The size of the protector is perfect and shouldn't get in the way of cases for the iPod. I'm using a Sonix Snap case, and replaced the poor screen protector that came wih that case with the Skinomi protector, and I couldnt be any happier with the overall protection (and aesthetics) of my iPod touch.

JAVOedge Pioneer Flip Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Color/Nook Tablet (Grey)

JAVOedge Pioneer Flip Case for Barnes & Noble Nook Color/Nook TabletThe flip cases are sooooo much easier to use with the Nook. I had a folder style where the clasp got in the way and it always felt bulky. I would take my Nook out when I used it, defeating the purpose of a protective case. This flip case has a soft suede feel and the olive color is true to the picture. The device fits snuggly and is well protected by the magnetic held top flap. I wish I had spent the extra money for this cover the first time!

I wanted a case that would protect my NC while in a bag and feel comfortable while reading for extended periods. This case is perfect the pseudo-suede is quite pleasant to hold, the stitching is very precise, and the case fits the NC like a glove, with all the cutouts in exactly the right spots. The stand is quite sturdy and snaps into place with magnets when not in use. In fact, the flexible spine of the case allows one to use the front cover as a horizontal stand it's not as sturdy as the intended vertical way, but you're not going to be punching your NC while watching a movie, so it works fine as a bonus feature. This case has the aura of a well-tailored coat, perfectly suited to its use and classy besides. Highly recommended. [Oh, and this grey color looks great with the NC.]

This is an excellent alternative to the speck fitfolio. We actually purchased this because we already had one nook tablet using the black speck fitfolio(which is also fantastic), and the "manly" color choices are serious lacking(only alternatives are purple and aqua/baby blue). So we decided to grab a javoedge which also looked pretty awesome. And it turns out its right on par with the speck case, perhaps a little bulkier, and it flips vertically as opposed to the horizontal flip of the speck fitfolio. But works excellent! If you can't decide between the two of them you really can't go wrong with either, just think about how you want it to flip! As the Javoedge has a built in functional stand.
