Logitech TypeAway Keyboard Ultra Slim Folding Kybrd for Palm

I have a Zire 71 (OS 5.2). This keyboard with the latest (last, as Logitech has announced that they are stopping development) driver works. It interferes with the predisplay of the camera image, but turning off the driver solves this problem. HotSyncing is a minor issue as well.

On the whole it's not perfect, but reasonable at the price.

Okay, here's the thing. Logitech's OS 5 drivers apparently suck to the point that it's absurd that they can claim compatability. BUT, they're not the only game in town. This site has a driver that's works beautifully. I wish I'd known about it back when I had a G700. Just be sure to tell the driver the correct keyboard layout, otherwise some keys won't work right.

As for the keyboard itself, it's not the best layout in the universe. The backspace key not being in the upper right takes some getting used to, and certain symbols are in odd spots. Still, it's very usable. There's a BIG space in the middle of the keyboard where the hinge is, but oddly, it doesn't interfere with typing much. The keys to either side of it being oversized probably helps. I just have to train myself to hit the 'y' key with my right hand! The original Stowaway and the Targus universal wireless were probably a bit more comfortable to use. However, this one folds up to something about the size of a Stowaway XT, and costs a fraction of the others. With the new drivers that make it work at LEAST with the Tungsten T, and probably with other OS 5 models with the universal connector, I definitely recommend this keyboard. The price point can't be beat.

I'm not very happy with this purchase, but that's what I get for trying to cheap out.

I had to download the 2.0 beta driver to get the keyboard to work with my T3. On the next HotSync, however, I would receive the fatal error "preferences.c,line:271,Prefdb open".

After searching the Palm support site and the DataViz support site, I found that it is a known incompatibility between the logitech driver and Documents To Go.

As the keyboard is discontinued, I doubt that logitech plans to fix the driver. I'm certain that DataViz doesn't plan to fix the incompatibility for the same reason.

Don't buy this if use Documents to Go.

I also have a Zire 71, but I cannot, however hard I try, get the keyboard to work with it. The driver I have (beta V2 for Palm os5), screws up the hotsync whether on or off, but it doesn't make it work. If anyone can spread any light on the subject please email me at craig_16@msn.com or leave feedback on this page.

On the other had, the keyboard is the lightest, most comapct i have ever had. The metal case gives a secure feeling and when unfolded it is almost the same width as the letters section on a regular keyboard.

What I'm saying is, if I can get this keyboard to work, we will grow old together, but if I can't, it's going back.

OK what do you expect from a 10/100 card in 2003? It better work... well this one had no hickups on my Toshiba e740. Good

manual. All you have to do is drop in the CD, install the driver, and reset. Then drop in the card. The Toshiba has built in WiFi, but sometimes I need a traditional hardwire connection. This card is definitely the one to get.

I ran various sniffing, ping, telnet, and other advanced netorking programs all functioned flawlessly. There is an

update of the driver on the socketcom.com web site, but installing the update had no perceptible change.

Recommended.

It gives a reliable ethernet connection on my Zaurus SL-5500. It is small, and convenient. It is much faster than dialup.

What can I say, it worked.

It takes some time for it to initialize like maybe 1-2 minutes.

Some times it will never work unless you re-seat it so its best to re-seat it every time.

You need to make sure you computer is running active sync in order for you to install the drivers.

With vista you have to go into your control panel and enable the active sync. XP launched the active

sync as soon as it detected my pda.

Everything else works like any other PDA network device so the menus are all the same.

On the software side you don't have to modify any of your code to get this to work.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program None of these cheap inverters produce a nice AC waveform. They tend to produce square waves, and this device even says that it has a "non-sinusoidal" waveform. This can actually damage some electronics. Be sure to read the owners manual.

Compact and works well enough for small devices (read warnings in manual about devices not to use it for).

Bottom Line:

They really hampered this by not putting at least 2 USB ports on it, as some cars have only 1 12v outlet up front by the driver, so if I need to plug in two cell phones to charge, this doesn't help me unless I use the AC adapter for one of them. I had some odd behavior with the AC port as well, my touch screen wouldn't respond on my phone when it was plugged into the AC port. Probably related to the poor AC waveform. Powering my small devices it is cool and quiet. It didn't get warm or anything.

Normally we don't have power on camp outs so we charge iphones in the car, etc. but that's a time consuming thing. This adapter plugs into your car's power port (once called a cigarette lighter) and gives you both a usb and a regular 3 prong ac port (like you have at home). We were able to charge the iphone via the usb port and the ipad via the power port with no problem. The device gets a little warm but it has vents to expel the hear. Also, it's very rugged and sturdy and has a user replaceable fuse. It also says it has an auto power shutoff in case of a surge.

We also recently used this at the drive in movies to power a boombox, worked like a charm. I would be careful about using it without the car running as it might drain your battery but we didn't run into problems.

My Acer Aspire One fits perfect in this case and the zipper pouch holds my bluetooth mouse and the charging cable. The items in the pouch protrude so the top isn't flat, but everything fits! The case is snugif I leave the micro USB bluetooth adapter in the USB port the laptop wont fit in the case, which is good because you want a snug case. I have not tried any other laptops in this case so I can only comment on the Acer Aspire One. I would recommend this case in a heartbeat.

We purchased a very cheap Plantronics headset to record demos and trainings using a screen capture software. The headset was really cheap, but when recording it had a fuzzy sound. I wanted to purchase a more expensive headset to get a more premium recording sound. I looked for noise cancellation. Most reviews on the headsets I found still had background noise, even though it stated noise cancellation as a recording feature. This product did not have a review so I thought I would provide one for future buyers. I literally just unboxed this headset and hooked it up. I was blown away by the quality of the speakers. It fit very comfortably and most importantly it recorded a crisp and clean track. No background fuzz or anything. I cannot give my opinion on how long it will last, but the durability seems there. It came with a tie string pouch for it to be placed in. Overall very good product!!!

I liked the headset and have no issues with the sound or audio functions. I have had the headset a bit less than a month and it just broke. There have been no drops/wire pulls or anything else of that nature. Pulling the ear pieces apart to put a head between stresses the thin part of the headset leading to the earpiece. There was an audible crack last week when I was slipping them on and I've been even more careful since then, but it still broke. Going to try and get it taken care of through warranty, but it still seems like a weakness unless the one I received had a defect that I did not notice.

I spoke with Jason at the Microsoft Replacement desk and had no issues requesting a replacement though it's on backorder and may be a bit of a wait. That call was fairly short and pleasant. Bumping the review up from 2 stars to 3 as the combination of good audio and good customer service make it more palatable.

I'm no Microsoft fanboi by any stretch of the imagination, but like their Natural keyboards, they again show that while they're not a hardware company, they understand good hardware.

I'm sometimes on loooong conference calls. These guys are super comfortable even during a long call. Sound is excellent, though I'm not using them for music or anything. The Lync controls are excellent, and the main reason I got these...I'd been looking for a wireless Lync capable headset, but all the ones I could find looked like bluetooth earpieces and I was looking for more of a headset like this.

I picked up the LX-6000's through Amazon as they're not yet available at the company store on campus. They work great on Win7 and Win8 and are a lot more comfortable than the lx-3000/4000 the replace. The microphone is also much better than the microphone on the lx-3000/4000 series and they headset is Lync certified!

Lexar Media 64MB Memory Stick (MS064260)

I was nervous buying this at almost half the price as the original sony memory stick, because I was putting it in my camera. With the camera if the memory stick has errors, well those pictures are all gone... and unlike losing some phone numbers from your PDA because of bad memory you can't recreate photos from your friends wedding because your memory stick went bad on you.

Well, the nervousness was unfounded! I've used this stick heavily since I bought it a few months ago, and has never failed me. It performs just as well as the smaller sony stick that came with the camera.

I'd also highly recommend the memory stick reader Lexar makes (you'll find it here on Amazon as well). I bought it after loosing the cable that connects my camera to my computer (the memory reader is *cheaper* than that single cable, if you can believe it!) and it's *better* because you don't waste batteries transferrring your pictures, and there's no cables to mess with when it's time to upload your pictures just pop the mem stick into the reader that's always hooked up...

End result Very happy with this memory stick and other Lexar products. They've worked flawless for me so far :)

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

Love this case. It's very protective against falls and scratches and it looks great! Love the auto-unlock feature. However, I've run into one small problem. When you flip the front cover back, you have to hold the front part of the flippy case straight up while you take a picture or a video. Kind of annoying.

Wise Eyes Passport for iPad mini

I have this case on my mini right now. While I really like it, the inside is just a bit too big. Sometimes if I have to tap something close to the edge, I kinda have to pull the case back a little. While its not terribly annoying, it's something I would like to have known ahead of time. The front cover can also be used to prop the mini up but I never use it because I can't get it just right. It's a tad floppy. If the owls weren't so cute, I'd return this case!

Dane Elec 256 MB Compact Flash Card

Chip works like a charm holds several hundred digital photos.

This compact flash card works great with my old Olympus SLR Digital camera (either we had to use the SmartMedia card---which was impossible for me to find an adapter to communicate with new computers---or use a compact flash card since we could no longer directly connect the camera via an old USB-type cord connection). I was able to continue to use the camera because I found this card. I have not had any problems with it and with an adapter, I can transfer its files to my computer. Much cheaper than buying a new camera as it works very well despite being older (the storage media have changed since we bought the camera obviously). Just what we needed in a compact flash card!

We bought a second one for 'back up' in case something happens to our current card.

I had a 256mb card used in a Linux firewall, and it failed recently. At least half the card is unreadable all the sudden. I do have backups though! :)

Since the write performance was lousy, I setup ram disks to take over the busy areas that see the most activity. Essentially, only /etc /bin /sbin /usr/sbin and /usr/bin were read/write on this card (nearly no write activity). Changes were only committed on an as needed basis (ever week or so). Oh well...

This skin looks really great and I love the fact you can restick it until you get the right fit and position. I am not sure what you call the 4 little rubber parts on what would be the bottom if you lay your Xbox down (I keep mine standing up so for me it's the left side). But there are only 2 cutouts for those little rectangles when there should be 4. The holes also do not align which causes bubbles. Since there are only 2 holes and not 4, the piece cannot lay down properly and causes even more bubbles on that side. I would have given this 5 stars had they properly cut the right amount of holes and in the right positions.

I reviewed the goblin skin made by the same manufacturer. Color is vivid, material is durable and you may stick and re-stick until it fits right. I gave both my reviews a 4 out of 5 because nothing is perfect. I reccommend this product for that individual who does not want to mod their xbox or spend $100 on some game vault.

This is an excellent alternative to the speck fitfolio. We actually purchased this because we already had one nook tablet using the black speck fitfolio(which is also fantastic), and the "manly" color choices are serious lacking(only alternatives are purple and aqua/baby blue). So we decided to grab a javoedge which also looked pretty awesome. And it turns out its right on par with the speck case, perhaps a little bulkier, and it flips vertically as opposed to the horizontal flip of the speck fitfolio. But works excellent! If you can't decide between the two of them you really can't go wrong with either, just think about how you want it to flip! As the Javoedge has a built in functional stand.

First off this pen is a RESISTIVE stylus. You can use this stylus on older type touch screen devices. I for instance use on my handheld scanner we use at work while delivering product. It works on UPS and FedEx handhelds and debit/credit card machines at convenience stores and Walmart. I have ordered them multiple times because I lose them all the time :( Anyway the pen/stylus does a great job and is hard to find since the new capacitive screens on iphones and such have came out.

I bought this product because I use a stylus for my business. I bought only a couple the first time to make sure that I would like the product. I have now ordered this product many times and order at least 10 at a time. LOVE IT...

Love this pen and stylus combo. Works great for when I am delivering packages and need to have a pen handy for customers to sign. Wish this was more readily available.

For the price these can't be beat. Had one for three times the price and the stylus broke after six months. We purchased several for the price of the last one.
