Brother PT-70 Personal Handheld Labeler with special time & date function

Brother PT-70 Personal Handheld Labeler with special time & date functionI purchased this labeler in the midst of an electrical upgrade in my house, and I've used it to neatly label all the circuits in my panel. It is easy to use, fast, and came with a good sized roll of labeling tape. For the price, it's a great deal, though the range of extra features (larger tapes, special fonts, multi line printing) may be too small for those with need for more decorative labels.

These little labeler runs our company. They make some of our management decisions every day. There are a billion of wires in our data centers and, besides our documentation servers, only these labelers know where the other ends of those wires go. Granted it appears that we control the lablers, but the decisions are based purely off of their thoughts. There are five shadowy PT-70s and one PT-65 overlords running the show here. The only reason their numbers have decreased is because they disappear in to thin air not because any have ever broke down. When they run out of management decisive tape, it isn't difficult to find some. Replacing said tape is also a breeze. Do not be fooled by this review, I'm telling you from experience that these devices make organization a breeze and are easy to operate. I am not saying this because of the PT-70 on my desk is forcing me to write such a wondrous review or that there will be consequences if I do not.

As a labeler: five stars. Four stars for the diminished user experience resulting from the glitchy battery level display

This labeler is easy to use. The QWERTY keyboard has a wide range of special characters accessible via the "symbol" key. Other functions (length, width, print size, style, font formatting) are accessed via a multi-purpose function key.

If you have used other labeling tape with backing that is pre-split for exposing the adhesive side of the tape, you'll have to learn a new technique for this product.

After printing and cutting your label with this machine, you then insert one end of the label into a slot on the top rear, and quickly pull the label down; this separates the label from the backing at the end. It doesn't always work the first time, but will work eventually. This process is clearly described in the user guide, and has an excellent pictograph engraved in the slot to remind you of the technique.

Other reviewers have commented on battery life. My experience is as follows: battery life is fine, but the battery life display is not. It displays a low battery warning *soon* after batteries are installed and a few labels are printed. Ignore it and keep on printing. You can print and print and print through many rolls of tape before battery life will be a real problem.

Many possible uses in the home and home office. My home computer area now requires two power strips (to deliver power to: a desktop computer, telephone, speakers, two monitors, two printers, a scanner, a router, a cable modem, VOIP modem, a wireless router a NAS unit, a desk lamp and --sometimes-a hard drive enclosure). Each of these plugs (and accompanying power supply blocks for those devices that have them) is now labeled. This eliminates trial and error when the time comes to unplug or remove hardware for maintenance or upgrades. Little victories are important in the fight to tame technology.

N Werle's review seems a bit much... I'll give you the label separator thing, It really doesn't work at all. But the rest of your review... I can't agree with it. I received a Dymo (Letratag) & Brother (PT-70) label maker for Christmas and have so far really liked this model (Brother PT-70) far more than the Dymo Letratag. I haven't had any trouble using the features or accidentally printing. Construction seems a bit too "plasticky" for my taste while the Dymo seems more heavy and solid. The Dymo also uses 4 AA while the brother PT-70 uses 4 AAA. Not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. Sure it will weigh less, but I assume the batteries won't last as long. Also, I really appreciate the qwerty keyboard on the Brother.

I really like this labeler! My main purpose for buying this was to make labels for my coupon binder, but i know I will find many other uses! Its very easy to use. There are different font styles and sizes, special characters, and borders. This is a great, inexpensive addition to any home or office.

rooCASE Apple iPad 4 Folio Case Cover with Stand and Smart Cover Function - 6 Styles

rooCASE Executive Portfolio Genuine Leather Case for 4th Generation iPad with Retina Display / the new iPad 3rd / Apple iPad 2I purchased this case after reading the positive reviews. The product arrived on a timely manner yesterday and it fit my Ipad2 perfectly. The leather is a gorgeous red and all the notches align properly. The top cover folds over to create the perfect typing angle and the smart cover works everytime. There ends my lovestory with this case. It does make the Ipad 2 bulkier but that is a minor price to pay for its protection. The viewing angle of this case seems wobbly and I am afraid it might not hold up in the longer run. But what irks me the most is that the top cover pops up slightly when laid flat on the ipad due to folding over. The magnetic clasp is not strong enough to keep the ipad covered if I lift it using the back. I am definitely returning this and looking elsewhere. But I so love the color...

Update 6/17/11: The manufacturer's customer service is really commendable. Few hours after posting the above review, I received a call from them offering me a different comparable model of theirs in exchange. Whatever is your issue, they will work with you to correct it. I will update more after I receive the replacement.

Update 6/18/11: Received this

rooCASE Convertible Premium Leather (Red) Case Cover with 24 Angle Adjustable Stand for Apple iPad 2 Wifi / 3G Model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB

as a replacement by priority shipping and the store sent a return label for my original case. PCmicrostore just earned a loyal customer.

The new one definitely takes care of the problem I had with the other, it has awesome viewing angles and is sturdier than this product. The new case is bulkier than this but slightly. I am happy with it.

If the manufacturer had provided the same magnetic closure/clasp that they have provided the 24 angle model to this Dual station, the finicky problem would have been solved.

I researched for weeks to find the best iPad 2 case and after countless hours reading reviews and looking up manufacturers, I finally came upon this Roocase folio case and the Zoogue iPad 2 case () . For this review, I will compare and contrast these 2 cases, since from my perspective they represent the best options.

Both cases are made from genuine leather and have approximately the same bulk. Both employ the smart sleep feature (which I LOVE), and both have similar designs. Neither case has a vertical stand option, but since 98% of apps work in the horizontal position, it is not a huge negative.

Here are the things that differentiate them....

Zoogue:

Pros:The Velcro option for this stand makes any viewing angle possible. It wouldn't seem like 1/8 of an inch would make a difference, but with this case, I could adjust the angle by infinitesimal degrees to find that perfect spot. And, because the case employs Velcro, once you put in position, it stays in position! You don't have worry about typing or touching the screen only to have the case slip out of place and fall back.

-The car strap is wonderful, and we did use it for positioning on our seat backs for viewing some movies and TV episodes while traveling in the car.

Cons:

The Zoogue case only comes in light pink, black and dark grey. That is fine for most, but since we were purchasing cases for the entire family (2 kids and 2 adults), color choices became necessary. I wish it would come in vibrant colors like blue, red, green, etc.

The car strap, while wonderful, does stretch out a bit, and you have to make sure to fasten it tight when not in use, otherwise it can flop a little.

The Velcro (especially the light pink) does attract some dust and debris.-nothing terrible, but worth noting

at $49.95, the cost was a little steep. I used a coupon to get free shipping, but the price was high, and if I had had to purchase 4 of them, that would have been $200.00. Hard to swallow.

This brings me to why after purchasing a Zoogue case, I purchased the Roocase for the rest of the family (and then one for myself)

Roocase:

Pros:I love the magnetic strap for closing the case. I cannot tell you how nice it is to pick up your case and not worry that the cover is flopping open and closed (and thereby waking your iPad and then putting it back to sleep over and over). The Zoogue case doesn't have a super convenient way to ensure the case stays closed. You can pull the car strap over the front, but that was not conveniently easy.

I love the magnet stand that clicks back into place when you are done. Again, it is a sleek design that I love. The Zoogue case stand secures back into place with Velcro. But for this particular feature, they only used a tiny square of Velcro that over time I could see no longer being as effective in keeping the stand closed.

I love that there were 4 color choices (we each now have a different color case so no more "you have my iPad!" arguments). And While I wish the Roocase also came in a greater variety of colors (blue, green, brown etc), the light pink was perfect for my youngest daughter, black for my husband, magenta for me and red for my teenager. It worked for our family.

at $29.95, it came in $20 cheaper than the Zoogue case and with prime membership, I got free 2 day shipping

Cons: While the case does allow for multiple viewing angles, nothing surpasses the Zoogue case flexibility, and so many times I have been disappointed that I could not find that absolute "perfect" angle (I know I am a little OCD :). Also, while the stand is very sturdy and in most positions will not slip out when the iPad is typed on, the lowest viewing angles do tend to slip out of place, or not work at all. Most people won't find that an issue, but for me, it can be very annoying.

In the ideal world, there would be a case that would combine the best of both featuresmore color options, a magnetic closing strap and magnetic closing stand, but using Velcro for the stand positioning feature (and if it were a truly perfect world, also still incorporating the car strap feature). I own both, and to be honest you can't go wrong with either case!

I really like this case. The red color is vibrant and the material is nice quality. Some have commented on the magnetic on/off function not working, but mine works fine so far. I love the multiple positions it allows for viewing and the velcro keeps the iPad sturdy. I also like how it has a protective case surrounding the iPad if you want to use it alone without the stand function. Now for my complaint... I received this case January 4, 2012 and on January 6, 2012 (only 2 days later) I noticed cracking/splitting along the spine of the case on the inside and outside unfortunately. Perhaps I received a defective case. I'll contact the seller PC Microstore and Amazon customer service to see what can be done about this.

Update:

I emailed the seller PC Microstore about the splitting in the spine of the case, they immediately emailed me back. They promptly sent me a new replacement case in perfect condition along with a prepaid mailing label to return the first case. Great case & great customer service from a great seller !

PDair Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-i9250 - Flip Top Type (Black)

PDair Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-i9250 - Flip Top TypeGreat craftsmanship and quality. Gives extra protection to my phone, and looks better than rubber or plastic case. Also prevents me from scratching my screen while eliminating the need for a film appliqué. The only problem is that the Galaxy Nexus has an LED light below the screen which some people may not even know about, which the case covers. I installed an app that lights up the LED in whatever color and at whichever blink rate that you specify, depending on the situation (new email, missed call, etc.), so I wound up having to punch my own hole in the leather. Glad I didn't screw it up!

This is exactly what I have been looking for. This is a great Android Phone wallet. It fits 1 driving license, 1 credit card, social card and 3 insurance card. Even though it has only 3 slots, I can put 2 cards in each slot without it being bulky. I don't need to access my phone a lot because I can access everything through my Elite Silver Bluetooth ear piece. I just say TEXT message, etc, and it will automatically do it without opening my phone. So the case is great carrying my phone around on my belt instead of having it in my pocket. It keeps my pocket empty and not have the bulky look. The case is well designed for my Android Galaxy nexus phone.

I don't need to carry a wallet anymore because it is all case together. My phone is well padded with this case and the material is pretty strong.

The clip hold the case very well.

Thanks for designing this great product.

Motorola KRZR K1 (Page Plus)

Motorola KRZR K1I had this exact same phone for over 4 years and I loved it. Now the screen broke and cannot be fixed so I was very happy to find it again. My 2 year contract with Verizon is over and I want to be able to have a new phone and not sign another contract.

Do not like the basic phone options available to me now and do not want to pay an additional $30.00 for a droid phone with a lot of apps I will never use.

Just need a good heavy, well made phone. This phone is capable of web browsing and downloading and texting etc. but I never used those features, but it lasted a long time and my husband has the same phone. We love it.

This is the best phone if you are looking for a just basic features like making/receiving calls, storing the contacts, and more. I have been using this phone for more than six months and have no complaints and instead I only have compliments. If you are looking for some high-tech stuff like internet, wi-fi this is not the phone for you. External display is cool with timer and incoming calls. One thing what I have noticed is about Motorola Phones is that the bar styled and flip styled phones work good than other kinds.

No doubt I highly recommend this product.

I got this phone because i don't like a lot of today's phones like Iphones, Droids and blackberry's. I was looking for a good looking traditional flip phone with many capabilities that the latest flip phones had. I know that the Razor was a popular phone that had high tech capabilities, being that the KRZR was basically the newer more attractive looking Razor phone i though it would have all of those things. This phone has nothing special, it does not have the options to change your menu scheme, The sounds that you record you can't set them as ring tones, You can't hear the things you record very well unless i am doing something wrong but i doubt that. Video is bad it only records up to about 35 seconds, if i am having to pay for a memory card in addition i expect to be able to record more than just 35 seconds, however i'm not sure if that is all based on what size the GB of the card is. Mine is 2GB. There is nothing special about this phone. It only looks good. I was not expecting a iphone in a flip phone but i was expecting a little more than what this phone has. They say this phone is red but looks more orange to me.. a copper red orange and the front mirror plate is straight up orange making the overall look of the phone orange. It is not as red as it seems in the pictures. If your looking for good looks and high capability in a flip phone this is not the phone you want to get. Unfortunately, cell phone makers don't add style, good looks and high features and capability all in one phone. So you will have to compromise if your a flip phone lover like myself. I may just send this phone back and conform to the ugly Iphone,Droid or Blackberry phones like everyone else has today.

Palm 3169WW Universal Wireless Keyboard

Palm 3169WW Universal Wireless KeyboardThe Palm Wireless Keyboard makes life easier for me. My information/Review is based on my own experience with this keyboard.

Installation: Put the disc in, follow instruction, perform hot sync, and wala! I'm done in 3 minutes. I don't know why others have problem with this.

How to use the keyboard: You have to turn the keyboard on FROM the PDA. On my Palm T|X, I go to the keyboard shortcut and turn it on. Maybe that's why others are having problem. It is not a plug and play type keyboard. You have to turn it ON from the PDA before you can use it. And by the way, your PDA has to be in place and align with the keyboard's IR to turn it on.

Design: C'mon, it's a black keyboard. How different is that from the other keyboards? You're supposed to use this keyboard to make life easier, not to compete in a "who has the prettiest keyboard" competition. The design is no different from a laptop keyboard. I can agree with others that this is not an easy keyboard to use if you are on a meeting trying to type everything. I can type 60+ words per minute on a regular keyboard but maybe 30+ on this keyboard only because I'm not used to it. But if I'm on my own pace I don't even notice.

Stability: I don't have any stability issues with this keyboard. I used this bad boy on the plane, train, school, ship, bus and at home and I never had any stability issues. Unless you are running or experiencing an earthquake, then yeah, stability would be an issue. And remember, this is a PORTABLE KEYBOARD; it folds so you can carry it with you.

Battery: two AAA batteries lasted me 3 months. Not bad at all. No complaints there. And yes, I use this keyboard at least 5 hours a week when I'm in the US and about 7 hours if I'm overseas.

Overall: It gets the job done for me. I can do my assignments, chat with my daughter, surf the web, check and send emails, calculate numbers and use PowerPoint with it. Don't be intimidated by other reviews. Find out for yourself. I'm glad I did and life just got a lot easier when using my T|X. I hope my experience can help you with your decision. Trust me, you won't regret buying this keyboard.

Compact & Easy to Use

The keyboard is great, stores easily and great for the classroom or to create a portable mini office. First thing: DO NOT USE THE DISK!!! Download your drivers from the Palm website. You will need the driver that is meant for your model. I have the Palm TX.

Second is that you need to play around with the commands on the keyboard to get it to work. The infrared eye is on the arm. If you flip it up, you can use Your Palm in portrate mode. If you flip it down, you can use the Palm in the right-handed landscape mode. They don't explain this anywhere in the directions.

If you have large hands, this is not a keyboard you would like. It's not quite a full-sized keyboard.

If I didn't have to spend so much time trying to figure it out, I would have given this keyboard a 5. With Documents to Go, you need to add in a command key so you can go straight to that program without using the stylus pen.

Thank you to everyone else that added your comments. I learned more from all of you than the so called directions. The only reason why the direction book is so large is because it's written in several languages.

A very good keyboard that doesn't take very much space when folded, but unfolds to an almost full-sized keyboard. The interface with my device (Palm TX) works very well. I had some small problems in the past using the previous wireless keyboard from Palm with my Tungsten T3, but this works as a dream. Some improvements from the old model:

-A fourth row for numerics

-The IR-arm swings from the right and if you have a PDA that supports landscape viewing and has the IR on top, then you don't even have to release it

-The keyboard now locks open so it doesn't fold on uneven surfaces (still, you won't use this in your lap unless you have something solid underneath it)

-To save on keyboard batteries you can now switch the keyboard off even when it is open, just slide the PDA-cradle to the left along the keyboard (may sound strange to anyone who hasn't seen the unfolding solution). When slid into OFF the folding lock also releases, which I like since the unlock button isn't very handy.

After trying a few keyboards with my Tungsten E, I found this one to be user friendly ... at least for adults. It allows you to access the number keys & special character keys just like a regular keyboard (no need for function keys in awkward places). It also has blue icons above the numbers to automatically access Palm home, contacts, calendar, memos.... when you simultaneously press the function key. There's a programmable command key which when pressed with a number will open whatever application you wish. You can orient your Palm vertically or horizontally. So what's so adult-friendly & not so kid-friendly (I'm using these with 3rd graders)? Opening it. Rather than pull it open, you slide it open. To close it, you need to push a little release button. For me, I love it.

BoxWave HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld AluArmor Jacket - Rugged, Heavy Duty Anodized Aluminum Metal C

BoxWave HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld AluArmor Jacket - Rugged, Heavy Duty Anodized Aluminum Metal Case for Slim and Durable Protection - HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld Cases and CoversTwo bad experiences with this case has caused me to stop using this case.

First, the lid unlatches far too easily. Fortunately, I consistently noticed the unlatched lid before my iPAQ came out of the case.

Second, the belt-clip part attaches to the case via a bolt. The bolt unwinds rather readily from the case. In one instance, it did so to the point of dropping to the ground, to the point of twisting the case, and my iPAQ scattering to pieces (fortunately, there was no damage to the iPAQ, and it still works). This second deficiency caused me to stop using it.

I had a metal case from RhinoSkin for a PREVIOUS hp RX3715 iPAQ, but they don't have one for the model 111, so I got one from BoxWave. I'm NOT happy with it. First, it has a clear plastic face that provides limited protection. I'd accidentally stepped on my old RhinoSkin case, dented the face slightly, but it saved my iPAQ. The BoxWave case wouldn't stand up to that. Second, the clear face lets me read the screen, but I have to open the case to do any screen-touch anyway, so it's impractical. Third, I don't like letting other people read what's popped up on my screen when I get a Calendar reminder when the iPAQ is on my belt.

The new case makes it difficult to reach the power button when the front cover is closed and IMPOSSIBLE when the cover is open. It also has useless access holes in the faceplate. The holes apparently allow me to touch various buttons, but again, I have to open the cover anyway to use the device, so these holes only weaken the case and allow more dirt to get in. It even has a hole just to see the "hp" logo on the iPAQ.

The belt clip isn't as good as the RhinoSkin's. I had the same type on a cell phone I lost because the clip doesn't easily lock into place.

Unless RhinoSkin provides a case for the iPAQ 111 soon, I plan to epoxy a metal plate over the clear plastic on the BoxWave case to make it stronger.

I'VE NOW HAD THIS FOR THREE YEARS. I LIKE IT LESS. The aluminum is like putty. The clip to hold the door closed is too soft and I often have to bend it back. Often have to bend whole case to fit the iPAQ. The clear plastic window came off. I'm shopping for a new case because the screw-on belt clip broke off.

I was impressed by the quality of this case in particular; it is lightweight and strong, and the inside offers a decent amount of padding to hold your iPAQ in place. My only 'con' is that you are unable to use the touchscreen through the plexiglass window, so you must open the case every time you wish to use the screen. Overall, though, a quality product for a fairly reasonable price :)

This case offers great protection for your iPAQ. It allows you to get at the hard buttons for the basic functions, though you have to remove the unit from the case to use it effectively. Fortunately, that's easy.

Note that the clear window on front does NOT allow you to use the screen I made that mistaken assumption.

Overall, it makes my iPAQ feel bulletproof without excessive bulk. I love it!

PNY Optima 2GB SD Class 4 Flash Memory Card P-SD2GB-EF

PNY Optima 2GB SD Class 4 Flash Memory Card P-SD2GB-EFI picked up the Polaroid variant of this memory card as a doorbuster deal from Circuit City on Black Friday for about the same price you can find it here on Amazon. The model number on it is P-2D2G-RF3/POL. Therefore, I'm sure it's the same card with a Polaroid label. It says made by PNY on it. I bought it for use in the Nintendo Wii and I can verify that it is compatible. I've copied pictures to it from my PC and then viewed them on the Wii.

This is my first experience with Secure Digital as my camera uses CompactFlash. Therefore, I thought I would benchmark it for comparison. Using a cheap, generic USB 2.0 card reader, I copied a file containing 231MB of digital photos in JPEG format from my PC to the SD card. Write Speed is 2.89 MB/sec (231MB/80sec). I then renamed the file and copied it back to the PC. Read speed is 4.62MB/sec (231MB/50sec). For comparison, using the same card reader and the same testing method, my 1GB Sandisk Ultra II CompactFlash card showed a write speed of 1.67 MB/sec and a read speed of 2.78 MB/sec.

I don't really know how to rate this item as I have no experience with any other SecureDigital Memory. However, it works and it's much faster than my CompactFlash. Therefore, I'll give it a 4/5.

The card works as advertised, which doesn't include it's speed. It's not a fast card. But for general everyday use, you can't beat the price. For more demanding photography, I would recommend a faster card.

Please don't be fooled by it's inexpensiveness. I am a victim of it. I already bought this card and within 2 weeks I started getting read and write errors. I formatted the card and it now has 2 MB of bad sectors. Unlike the other reviewer I did had 2 GB to begin with. But I think it is bad quality product and thats why it is dearth cheap. It is not at all reliable. Now I am contacting their customerservice to replace this card for me.

I bought this card and a Magellan Explorist XL GPS from Amazon back in March or April. I plugged it in and it worked great ... until the other day when my GPS wouldn't start. I removed this card and the GPS started just fine.

Since there is (apparently) no software in the GPS to format the card, I decided to put it in my camera which does have format capability. The camera simply rejected the card as unusable.

Fortunately, I have a backup of all my map files and can hopefully restore them when I get a real card. I'm just glad I wasn't using it in my camera while on vacation.

Now I'm worried about my camera card which is also a PNY but the 1 GB version.

I think I'm going SD card shopping tomorrow.

Want PNY Optima 2GB SD Class 4 Flash Memory Card P-SD2GB-EF Discount?

I bought this SD Card on sale thinking I'd just saved a couple bucks, but the very first time I used it, it crashed my computer and broke my camera. After taking the pics I wanted, I inserted it into my computer, which instantly started acting strange slowing down and not recognizing that there was a card inserted. So I tried to restart my computer and it wouldn't restart. I had to take it in to get it fixed, costing me $100 for the technician to tell me it was the SD card. Also, the camera I used it in, a Nikon D80 that I just bought 5 months ago, is now being shipped back to the manufacturer for repair after using this card, the display monitor wouldn't turn on and the camera wouldn't record any pictures on any of my other SD cards. Next time, I'll spend a little extra money to buy something of quality, especially when using it with my expensive equipment.

Seiko Thumboard Keyboard for Handspring Visor Deluxe, Neo, Pro & PlatinumAlright, I have to admit that straight out of the box I thought I was never going to be able to use this thing! The keys seemed terribly small and my fingers aren't the most delicate things on this planet.

After a couple of days, I'm falling in love. This keyboard has a lot of advantages over other 'portable' keyboards.

Size: Truly portable. Comparing it my friend's Stowaway, this thing just takes the cake.

Location: If you don't know yet, you slip this over the bottom of your handheld (in my case Visor). It stays in place remarkably well. It's rounded sides and larger profile, makes typing easy because the handheld is easier to hold.

Construction: Yes, it's plastic, but it's well made plastic. Everything has clean finished edges. I flexed my in my hand and it creaked a little bit, but not like it was going to fall apart suddenly.

In conclusion, I give this tiny but powerful keyboard four stars. It would have earned the coveted five star rating if it's keys were just a smudge bigger, or spaced out a bit more. If you have small fingers and great fine motor skills, you'll be typing out page-long emails in no time.

I have been using my thumboard with my visor delux for about a week now, and am getting pretty good at typing on it, but the software has one major drawback. It automaticaly boots to the application screen when you turn it on. I would like it to go to the last application I was working on like the visor does without the thumbboard. It is a pain to have to keep restarting the application just because I turned the device off or let it time out while taking notes. Other than that, it works great!

Buy Seiko Thumboard Keyboard for Handspring Visor Deluxe, Neo, Pro & Platinum Now

1)When trying to install the software found it conflicts with the Targus Keyboard and hangs the Visor. Disable the Targus Keyboard driver before installing and the install will work ok.

2)The Thumboard program interferes with the working of the alarm function. The alarm will sound but the alarm display is suppressed and you won't be able to deactivate the alarm. The only way to deactivate the alarm is to disable the Thumboard and reset the alarmed item to activate again. Then both the original alarm and the reset alarm will display and can then be cancelled.

Out side of these 2 items it works as advertised. The Manual is Tiwanglesh but is still understandable.

The thumboard I just received it today. You won't be able to type as fast as a fast touch typist, but you can do quite well enough.

The keys are responsive and quick no lag time at all.

The portability is the biggest plus for me, as I walk everywhere, and am always trying to write things on my Visor using Graffitti.. I've gotten good at it, but it's still too slow.

But with the Thumboard, I can walk and type with my thumbs, plus just pop it off, and stick it in my pocket when I'm not using it.

That's the main thing I like about this: mobility. It also has an excellent balance to it.

There's an annoying glitch when powering off my Visor Deluxe via the Thumboard half the time the unit goes into Hotsynch mode...I then have to physically pullout the Thumboard unit and turn the power off...no doubt this is probably not good for my Visor. I've contacted Seiko-Austin via email and they have yet to reply. Very frustrating!!! If I wasnt in Japan I would have returned this product back to Amazon. A friend of mine also had the same problem with his Thumboard...so be careful. If it wasnt for this pesky problem I would easily give the unit 5 stars as its works well otherwise.

Mini Rii Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard RT-MWK02+

Mini Rii Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard RT-MWK02+I've bought a few of these types of keyboards and all the ones I've bought in the past have been flimsy and junk and never really worked 100% right. This keyboard feels solid in the hand and well made. Works great on my ICS android devices, the mouse part of the keyboard even works, I get a small mouse icon on the screen.

This is the best mini keyboard I've had yet.

This works great for my HTPC, its Bluetooth stays connected when device is turned off, so when i click the TV over to PC just turn the little switch on they keyboard ON and it syncs and ready to go. This will not replace a real keyboard so don't plan on using it for writing long emails or anything like that but for basic browsing, email, chat and everything for a PC attached to a TV it works great. The track-pad works very well, i purchased other versions that were $100+ and this one worked the best.

Nice small keyboard. Comes with bluetooth dongle that fits inside the back of the board. Has lazer pointer that can double as a toy to play with cats.

This was purchased as an adjunct to a new Android phone that lacks a physical keyboard. The Bluetooth paired with my EVO 3D with no problem, and the touchpad even works well. A very nice addition for when one wants to make a reply without typing on the screen.

Hooked the product up fine to the smart TV via blue tooth. Tried to use it to choose movie and letters did not register, after repeated frustrated pushing of buttons, then registered multiples of same letter. Either you get nothing or multiple letters, no one letter with push of one button. Do not reccommend for use as intended with smart TV

Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet (Wifi Only, Wifi + 3G) Baby Pink Snug Fit Hardshell Carrying Case + Vango

Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet Baby Pink Snug Fit Hardshell Carrying Case + Vangoddy, Live*Laugh*Love wrist band!!!As a big fan of the Kindle, I was looking for the right travel case and accessories. This combo package does have a very good selection of chargers(for car, at the office) etc and the snug fit case is easy to spot in my large travel bag but I am still looking for a case that can CARRY your chargers and light with it. So that's just a personal preference. But this is a good value and one of the few combo kits that the different types of chargers I was looking for.

I bought this package mainly for the case. I love that it's hardened around the Kindle. It really makes it easy to have the kindle in and out and protects it great in a bag while being squished by other stuff.

The extra accessories is just gravy on top because the Kindle holds its charge so well that I rarely have to use the chargers.

When I purchased my Kindle I was awed by the pretty leather case, but I saw this and that it came with the additional adapters. I realized that in my hectic on the go that the leather might night provide enough protection. I put my Kindle in this, zipped it up and I've taken it to work, camping, the museum, it is so rugged and solid. Clean up is great too, a little hot soapy water dabbed on and the stains come right out.

It's generic, made to fit all sizes, so it doesn't fit the smallest one very well. The elastic band is sewn in too high, cuts across the screen, so leaving the band on while holding and reading isn't good. I have to remove it and resew, luckily I can do that.

The extra cords seemed like a good idea, but they aren't needed unless you lose the charger/data cable which comes with your Kindle. It should come with a light instead of the extra wall charger or just include a light.

There is a lot of room inside the case, so good thing it's a hard shell. If it were soft, it would smash the Kindle easily.

I'm going to buy a skin cover for the Kindle and there is enough room inside to still hold it with an extra skin on.

I like the color, but there is a spot on the back upper corner where the gray dye from the zipper bled on to the pink shell, looks like a dirt spot but it won't come off.

If you want a more snug cover so it appears that you are reading a book or just for a comfortable hold, buy a different case.

I received this product today and am a little disappointed I was really hoping for a "snug fit" for my latest generation (Wifi only) which has been hard to find since most cases I have found are made for Gen 1 or 2. This one specifically said Latest Generation so I thought I had found the one. Well it isn't a snug fit or anything close. It has about an inch of extra space on top, about half an inch on the side and the band is so high that is covers the bottom of the screen. It also doesn't look like the photo. It shows it as all pink but the product is pink with a large gray band and zipper around it. If you are looking for a case for a Gen 2 (which I assume it fits better) I would say this is a great case. I like the feel of it, I like the style and even though it is not what is pictured I don't mind the gray band/zipper. I am not bothering with the hassle of returning this. It was a good price, I got a car charger in the deal and for now it at least protects my Kindle when not in use (it does stay snugly in the mesh pocket on the other side). I will just continue my search for a good TRUE Latest Generation case.

*I included photos in the customer photos section to show the size problem.

I LOVE this Nook stylus. I have been reading many more books now that I have the Nook and the stylus makes it so much easier for me to do things like turn the pages . I have multiple sclerosis and diabetes so using a finger was hard to keep steady to turn only one page at a time. The stylus has a clip that goes on the cover of the Nook so I don't lose it.

PalmOne m105 Handheld

PalmOne m105 HandheldLike my review for the m100 i will say that the m105 would be an excellent gift for the non-gadget consious, non-power packed hungry individuals. Its an excellent entry level palm. At its price is quite a bargin. Its main difference is that it has 4 times the memory. Trust me you will be quite pressed to max 8mb. Unless you use Avantgo or Fireviewer you wont even come close to filling 8mb up. The m105 also comes with a cradle instead of a cord. There's also a mobile kit included.

As a last piece of advice i highly recommend that you do your research before you go and by any PDA. Dont believe the PocketPC ads or even the Palm ads. Talk to a lot of people and read a lot of reviews, particularly reviews that are made my people like you or me who aren't on Palm's or Microsoft's payroll.(Unfortunately) They will really tell you a lot of things that you will really want to know.

Good Luck! Overall again this is a good introductory palm for those who dont have any type of PDA. Again it really depend on your needs in a PDA. If all you need is a place to write telephone numbers, keep a calendar, a to do list and maybe a few games, this would be adequate. However if you need to view documents, e-books, web clippings, spreadsheets, and even listen to music, you might want to go another direction. Also be prepared to part with a few more dollars.

The Palm m105 is a great pieace of hardware, no matter how you live your life and want it for. The plastic is a little lighter grade, but if its your first dive into the world of Palms, you'll have nothing to compare this grade of plastic to anyway.

Palm gives you everything to get you started. You get the full Palm OS with the date book and phone book and the to do list, 8mb of memory, the new stylish, curved look, the cover plate with the clock feature, the syncing cradle and the multimail, AvantGo software and the Outlook Sync program too.

Plus, that wireless internet kit they throw in too. It works with lot's of Nokia cell phones and Motorola cell phones that have infrared, or you can buy a little cable to connect the two if you have a phone without infrared. ... you know you have a Palm that can do anything with, just by downloading and installing the right program. I do real-estate on the side, and I have mine do lease calculations for me, mortgage amortization charts, a dataadse to keep clients names and numbers, and also a database of places available to show. And the Date Book schedules who's seeing what and at what time and what day. For me personally, it keeps track of my bills with Pocket Quicken, holds all my friends numbers and addresses for me, and co-ordinates my social schedule as well. And for my company where I work, I am an accountant, and I have a program that can calculate gross profit, an entire business calculator I downloaded from somewhere and can work on spreadsheets or word processing documents whenever I get a chance (used to have to carry a laptop for that)! There is even a program to calculate the tip and divide the bill by how many people ate for a group at a restaraunt! Not Kidding! Anything and eveything, you can add it because you have 8mb.

Use it whenever you are stuck somewhere, like a train station, an airport, a cab ride, or just waiting in line at the supermarket. With the wireless internet connection, you can email people from anywhere..,your boat, the beach, the mall. The possibilities are endless, it can save you so much time. Not to mention having all the info you need to run your career right in your hand. Or should I say in the Palm of your hand? :)

First off, Id like to say that Ive had this pda for over three years. Ive continuosly used it since I had gotten mine,(i won mine)and Ive never had a problem with it. Ive dropped it, kicked it, I have even stepped on it!(None of these on purpose) It doesnt have a scracth. And it seems like theres unlimited memory. Ive never had to delete any thing for extra memory, and 8mb may not sound like much, but it is! And there are superior graphics on this handheld. Even though it isnt color. Such a bargain too! The only problem is that if your batterys die or fall out, your memory is reset, deleting all files!!!

I rate this great for anyone with a cash limitotherwise go for the Palm m130!!!

Pros: Lots o' Memory, Great graphics, very durable

Cons: If batterys fall out, all files are lost =(

Palm Pilots in general are great things, but the Palm m105 (the whole m series, in fact) is a huge disapointment. As the Amazon review says, the OS isn't upgradeable -a major flaw, imagine buying a PC with Windows 3.1 and never being able to change it! -and the screen is too small for my taste.

The good thing is that Palm put a decent amount of memory (8 megs) in this model. If you get one of the 2 meg models you may as well get a basic $50 electronic address book from Radio Shack. 8 megs should be the absolute MINIMUM amount of memory in a handheld PC. I'd really like to see Palm begin offering models with 16 or 32 megs of RAM like, dare I say it, PocketPCs.

The best Palm model out there is the Vx (it is even better with an OmniSky modem) but it is way too expensive. The next best choice is the IIIxe (which I hear they've stopped producing, so grab one now) which has all top of the line features except it doesn't have the internal rechargeable battery and it is bigger.

Zagg LEATHERskin for iPad 2, Alligator (FGLSBRNALL97)

Zagg LEATHERskin for iPad 2, AlligatorI've owned two of these. Within a few weeks after acquiring the first, some of the the keys on the integrated keyboard began coming lose on a regular basis, at which point I exchanged the item for another which I've now owned for about nine months. The lettering on the new case which identifies the purpose of the switches which turn the unit on and off and active the connection of the keyboard to your iPad by bluetooth has worn off and is now unreadable, and the leatherette is debonding and peeling away from the corners of the case.

This attractive cover provides a texture which makes it easier to grip and also keeps it from slipping. Identifying my iPad is also easier. One suggestion that when applying the skin be sure to allow enough space for the magnetic cover. Look carefully and you will see that one edge of the iPad has absolutely no buttons; that is where you want to make sure that there is enough clear space for the magnetic cover to cling. I bought the Logitech keyboard and both the cover and keyboard magnetically hold fast. This permits me to slide it into a zippered case making it all easily portable.

Great option if you want some scratch protection on your iPad. This leather skin is functional, and does so without adding bulk. I have used it for about 6 months, and it still hasn't shown any wear. Note that I occasionally put this in a DODOcase, and it fits in it, even with the skin on. Matches well with Apple's leather smart cover. I take it out from my DODOcase when I want to keep things simple and light, while offering a good grip and scratch protection.

Want Zagg LEATHERskin for iPad 2, Alligator (FGLSBRNALL97) Discount?

Received a day early! Very happy with this skin! Ultra thin, easy to apply, removable, and a realistic faux alligator pattern. While this is just a skin offering no protection if it falls, it does offer just enough of a hand on the iPad itself. It is actual leather and even has an aroma. Would be great to see other "exotic" leathers, like the ostrich they had for the original iPad.

Definitely would recommend, and now I think I'll have to fine a ZAGG leatherskin for my phone!

M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPad (Blue)

M-Edge Supershell Cover for iPad 2 and the New iPadI absolutely love ths case. I have four children 9 and under, and this case is perfect for protecting the iPad from damage. It is bigger than other cases, so someone without children may not prefer it, but even when I am using the iPad I love the way the case makes it easy to hold and you can prop it up any where and it won't slide down because of the shell's material. The is a great advantage when watching videos or when I need to prop it in the kitchen to read a recipe.

Another praise for the M-Edge: I have a special needs daughter and this case has protected the iPad from many a drop!

Offers the best protection on all sides for little ones If you are going to use your IPAD primarily for your little kids, i recommend this.
