This is a great way to protect your Kindle Fire. The tough aluminum shell offers a lot of protection to the screen without adding bulk. It's thin and light weight, but very tough. You can charge the device with the case closed and there's a small hinged bracket that allows you to prop the Kindle up at various angles. I'm very happy with the quality and convenience of this product at a very reasonable price.I use my Kindle fire to read, of course, but also use it as a productivity tool at work and rarely leave home with out it. When I got it as a gift it included a black leather cover that folded like a book. It was a classy look and offered basic protection, but it also added weight and thickness and allowed lint and "pocket stuff" to get on the screen.After a bit of searching I ordered the IDS Aluminum case and I really like it. It is very sleek and eye catching and gives the Kindle Fire a cool high tech look. Because it is metal I feel it offers solid protection. At the same time the case is thinner and lighter than the leather, which is a major plus. At work I carry my Kindle in cargo pants pocket and this case lets it fit better and gives full protection as I walk and move about.
The case holds the unit very securely, I don't feel like it is going to fall out even when I hold it upside down. All ports are easily accessible, however the plug has to be removed to open or close the cover.
When closed the case latches securely and seems to offer good protection. When opened for use the cover folds flat against the back. The only complaint I have there is the edges of the cover are a bit sharp and it can be slightly uncomfortable to hold if you are not paying attention to how you hold it.
The case also has a small "kickstand" that is used to hold the Fire at a comfortable reading angle. It works pretty well.
This case was in my opinion worth the price and I would recommend it.

I bought this item while on a trip to New York. While I was there, all my info on my visor went corrupt. At that point, I went out and bought this little item. So far, its been great. The reason I gave it a 5 is for its durability. I had, like I usually do with many things, left the module in my pocket overnight in the pants I had on the floor. However, my parents had decided to take those pants and wash them. Once through the washing machine and a run through the dryer. It got out and I was sure it was dead, but nevertheless curious. So, I put it in the visor, and much to my surprise, IT WORKED! Whereas I wouldnt try this at home, its amazing how tough these modules are. Handspring makes the best!

I brought this module years ago to backup my visor, especially since I did not own a computer at the time. It was a lifesaver, allowing me to restore everything upon replacing batteries. There were a few times I misplaced the visor in the house and (of course two months or so later) once I found it the batteries were completely dead. I found it to be slightly difficult to line up the skin perfectly to the phone, but the provided instructions were very helpful. The skin looks to be made of high quality vinyl and I don't think I'll have any problems with it peeling off in time (will update the review if it does).I had an issue with downloading the matching wallpaper to use as my phone background and contacted the vendor. The vendor resolved this for me satisfactorily within 24 hours.
The only thing I dislike is that the skin that covers the back of the phone does not cover the full surface area, leaving the outer edges where the skin ends vulnerable to scratches and normal wear-and-tear. Additionally, the skin looks really cool but I don't think it will protect my phone from damage if I were to drop it on a hard surface. It's about what you'd expect for a $6.00 skin, though. More expensive options will provide better protection.
Bottom Line: If you want to make your Xperia Play look even more cool than it already is, these skins are for you. If you're looking for a good amount of protection, you'll probably want to find something else.

Amazing! I've never used one of these things, but I just plugged the remote unit into the USB port and it worked like a charm. I can now wander around the room while showing PowerPoint presentations, and the built-in laser pointer is a big plus.It has four buttons: One for forward, one for reverse, one to blank the screen, and one is for the laser. It fits well in your hand, and one of the nicest features is the fact that the USB plug stores in the hand unit and turns it off so you can't accidently drain the battery -great design.
Very intuative. Very cool. Can't believe I've gone this long without one of these things.
1. Size. This is compact, which makes it better for travelling.
2. The USB receiver stores in the pointer -and when it's inside, it turns off the control so that battery lasts longer. Nice.
3. The USB receiver has indicator lights to show you when the battery needs replacing, whether the receiver and control are communicating with each other, and whether the receiver is plugged in correctly.
4. The battery cover is screwed in. This is a bit of a hassle when it comes to changing the battery, but I have dropped my other controls repeatedly, and often the cover pops open, spilling the batteries. I prefer this design as you don't have to change batteries very often, whereas you have to handle a control very often.
5. Most importantly, this control is for PRESENTATIONS. Most of the other controls have made the foolish decision to try and add mouse-like behaviour to the remote as well, which is a terrible idea. It means that you can accidentally put yourself in the wrong mode in the middle of a presentation. In the case of the Targus control, it also means that you click on the left button to move forward one slide, and the right button to go back, which is moronic. This control covers the basic things you want to be able to do: move forward and backwards in the slide pack, and use a laser pointer.
6. The buttons have a nice, firm "click" feel, so you don't accidentally bounce forward 5 slides. The Targus is particularly bad for that accidental multiple-slide forward problem.
I agree with another poster that it would nice if had a couple of other presentation functions built in (say, going to the beginning, Esc, and Alt-Tab), but I haven't found a control at this price that didn't double as a mouse with any of those functions, either.

This remote is extremely easy to use. It has four buttons, forward, back, laser, and blank the screen. The laser is bright enough, reception is excellent, and no setup is required on a PC, apple, or Fedora linux machine. My one complaint is that the remote sends the signals pageup and pagedown to move through slides. If your presentation program uses these keys then this remote will work for you. Otherwise it won't. My own experience is that it works for PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Keynote, but not Impress(OpenOffice) or Preview.Yeah, they claim this thing works with MS Powerpoint. But what they do not tell you is that it only works with PART of Powerpoint. It only works in Slide Mode. It does NOT work in Presentation View mode. Of course, most of my presentations are run in Presentation View mode.SO the remote is useless. And they have no fix for it. They cannot even document that this is the case.
I am going to look for something else. Maybe the Microsoft Remote.
***UPDATE***
It's true, this presenter has problems with PowerPoint's Presenter View because in that mode PgUp and PgDown keys are used to scroll the notes. However, here's a neat trick I discovered that makes it work again:
Start the presentation in Presenter View
Pres "B" on your keyboard to show a blank screen
Click the mouse (anywhere in the blank screen) once to resume the presentation and then AGAIN to advance to the next slide
Magically, from this point on the presenter buttons work flawlessly.

As a professional speaker, I have tried just about every remote presentation device out there and I have to say this is the best one I have ever used. I originally bought a case that could rotate 360 degrees; while that case was great for hands-free viewing, it didn't provide enough stability when holding the Kindle for reading. This case provides that stability -I can hold the Kindle with one hand, with or without the hand strap, even when I'm lying down in bed. Other good things: the sleep/wake function, the elastic strap for closing, the speaker holes, the cutouts for all ports including the charger, a loop for a stylus. Negatives for this case include not being able to fold the front cover perfectly flush against the back cover (although this actually isn't as big a deal as I thought it would be). Also, while it stands well in the landscape mode, it doesn't stand well in portrait mode. It's not the thinnest case out there, about the size of an average hardcover book. The PU leather has a slight smell that goes away with time. Overall, the negatives are minor. For this price, I think it's a good deal.

I use this with my Epson LabelWorks LW-300 Label Maker (C51CB69010). It is a very nice black on white tape. The backing peels very easily. The tape itself seems to be pretty waterproof. I have used it to put my name on plastic waterbottles, and the tape stays on even after I put the bottles through the dishwasher. This would probably also work well for people who leave their kids in daycare and have to put their name on bottles, tupperware, etc.The tapes also peel off of must hard surfaces without leaving any residue. I have some file cabinets that I use these on and I can easily pick off the labels (after many months) without leaving any marks whatsoever.
30 feet is a nice length much better than the 9 foot starter cartridge that came with the Label Maker.I went with Epson instead of Brother because of the reviews. I'm glad I did. No waste of tape between labels.

I would surmise that Epson uses the printers as a loss-leader to sell these cartridges. Ya know, seeing that the printer, a complex piece of electronics, is $7 more. But what do I know. I suppose such is the case with many printers, doesn't mean I won't complain. 4 Stars only for that reason. AFAIK, the Amazon price is pretty good as I think they generally are more than $20.These cartridges work really well in my LW-300 printer. You get sharp, clean lettering and symbols for all fonts (which this printer has a TON of). As my sister always says, if you give a man a l labler, EVERYTHING will be labeled. I am no exception.
This is a blue cartridge, purchased only because I didn't want to spend double to get black and any other colors as well.
Palm Tungsten T5 HandHeld Organizer
Next to me and my steth, this Palm is my best tool at work. I use it as an alarm, to schedule my life and sync to my other computers, I can use docs and spreadsheets to multitask while waiting for something or on the bus, I can look up drugs or other words in my PDA Taber's or PDA Lippincott drug book, I can use a 5-minute clinical to help with diagnosing, I can play video games, listen to music, and there's even features I haven't explored yet wrt email and phone. It's amazing. It has BlueTooth (sp), and ... well, I really really really appreciate having it. It will be a profound asset as I continue in my nursing studies through RN to APRN and maybe even a PhD at UW.
You need an older version of Windows to use this Palm.

The Palm Tungsten T5 ... came quickly, after a couple days I found out how to reset the palm pilot though the reset hole on the back. The palm pilot comes with a stylus on the side that can be used to type things in, write things in (which can convert to typed), and the black end cap can come off to be used in the reset hole. The Hot Sync cables, CD, and Charger were nice additions, but some other things like the cradle kit, and two items that look simular to outlet covers that it came with I don't know what their used for. Extra memory would be helpfull which I sent for. I don't know yet if I could use more than 1GB of memory with it, in a review about a memory card somebody who had a Tungsten T3 couldn't use more than 1.5GB with their palm pilot, but said other Tungstens were allright. The product was labeled used but, in very good condition and I believe that it was refering to the old software. The date before the palm pilot was reset was June 2004. Text documents can be converted through Microsoft Office Word 2007, and the "find" feature can be very beneficial. Price was good, $5.99 including shipping. It was described as 1200mAh and 6.19mm thick. Actual is 1600mAh and 8mm thick so it did not fit my phone. However, the part number is correct and the picture shows the part number and 1600mAh.I have a Palm Treo 750 that used 1200mAh battery and this battery does not charge in my phone. I feel that it was my fault for not checking if the picture, the part number, and description match. Thus I decided not to return it.

I really like the case. Very well built, it is perfect for my 914c. Although the phone has touch screen, the producer included a screen cover. I mean, come on, how am i to unlock my phone? Anyway, i removed the screen, and now everything is fine. Maybe they thought that you can open the case every time you use the touchscreen. It is hard to operate the phone with the case open.

I think for the money, and lack of love for this memory format, that it is much more superior to SD than people give it credit for.

I purchased this stand so that my girlfriend and I could plug our iPhones into the speakers we have in the bathroom without leaving the phone sitting on the sink or a shelf. I don't know if my positive experience with this computer is reduced by the fact that it uses Windows 8, but I will try to base this review on hardware only. The computer has everything I was looking for, SSD hard drive, plenty of USB (including 3.0), nice graphics card, plenty of memory, I7 processor, and...windows 8. But lets not talk about Windows 8. The first thing I did was install an additional hard drive which was a breeze due to an external slide out tray which is located right below the optical drive expansion slot. Great! Exactly what I wanted, although it is not a hot swap HDD tray, you will have to shut down your computer to change the HDD. Once in, my extra HDD came to life and everything worked great. Next I added a blue ray burner. For that task I had to open the case and take the front panel off. No problem, couple of screws and the side slid off allowing the front to come off. I added the blue ray burner and that is when I noticed I do not have any more expansion slots except one PCIe left. Hmmm...missed that one when deciding to get this computer, I would have liked to have at least one PCI slot open. I'm not a computer expert but the motherboard did not look like a gaming mother board, it was basic...very basic. I put everything back together and my blue ray burner worked like a charm. For individuals who might be looking for a hard core gaming computer, I suggest reading details and specification, especially the motherboard.So, nice computer, works great. Love the SSD...Windows starts in about 5 seconds. I gave it 4 stars due to very basic mother board and no expansion slots.
Windows 8 is not that difficult either on a PC. I installed a "start Menu" application so it works just like any previous windows version so I can group and categorize my app's.

I spent a lot of time looking at different tower PCs. I looked closely at the iMac but to be honest it is overpriced for what is actually inside the machine. I was very close to ordering a custom PC but then came across the Acer Predator on Amazon. It had everything I was after. A good motherboard, plenty of RAM and harddrive capacity plus geared towards gaming. In addition it comes with SSD memory which I now realise is a real advantage. The only issue I had was learning how to make best use of the SSD vs. harddrive, but it wasn't really a big deal. Now I have all my programs on the SSD and my photos, music, etc. on the harddrive. This makes it very fast and much quicker at start-up after the PC has gone to sleep, etc. The PC is very quiet as the hardrive is used less and the fans don't kick in so much. Graphics are good I run Guild Wars 2 with no problems, plus multi-tasking is no issue either.No comment on Windows 8!
