I purchased my ereader a couple of months ago but it didn't come with a case. I tried keeping it in my purse so when I was out and had time on my hands, I could pull it out and read. However, by using that method it was never charged because it would get turned on while in my purse. I ordered this case to protect the glass from scratches and breakage, and also to hopefully prevent accidental activation. So far, it has worked and the ereader is always ready for use. The case is soft and durable. It came with a set of ear buds, another item the ereader didn't come with, which are great. The case also came with a clip on handle that is available if I decide to use it. I think this case is great (and the color isn't bad neither).

I bought this wallet for my grand daughter, and it is very well made and really cute and unique! The only thing that could have been improved would be to have a place for coins.

Smallest Bluetooth 2.0 Adapter Dongle (Vista/Windows XP Compatible)
I bought 2 of these looking at the price being so good but shipping costs brought 2 of these up to over 10$ but i bought them anyways after seeing peoples sucsess storys. Bad choice. This bluetooth adapter would work great if it wasnt tied to Bluesiols Drivers. You can get this dongle to work for standard bluetooth devices like file transfers without installing the software but anything involving sound coming out through the bluetooth adapter into your bluetooth headset forget it. This device manufacture using bluesiol was a big mistake. I tried installing the bluesiol software on the disc on my brand spanking new 1500$ computer with windows 7 and it crashed my computer with the blue screen of death! You can imagine my anger after having this happen. I uninstalled the bluesiol software and did a system restore to fix the blue screen problem. then i went to bluesiols website and tried to install the newest software, With support for windows 7. It recognized the dongle after a restart and i was finally able to use my bluetooth headset after 4 hours of troubleshooting!(Or so i thought,) I started talking to my friends on skype and 2 minutes later the headset disconnected from the dongle. Going into bluesiol and telling it to reconnect gave me various messages, like there is no bluetooth dongle installed, and the bluetooth service isnt running, and the headset isnt responding. My headset is fine as it connects to my Macbook. So it is the hardware and software, after more troubleshooting(1 hour later) I was able to connect again and hear and speak to my friends. YAY!(or so i thought) Once again 2 minutes later the dongle just wasnt installed or recognized. figures. I have yet to try this on linux, or on my imac that doesnt have bluetooth. I will edit this review once ive tested it.(EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT THE DONGLE TO USE ON WINDOWS TO PLAY GAMES AND TALK TO FRIENDS!) Well if i could of there would probably be a lot of profanity in this review to the seller and the manufacture. Just to let them know that. Bottom Line: If your using it for data transfer and thats it dont install the software and wala it works. If you are using it for connecting a bluetooth headset steer away from this device. It doesnt even serve as a good paperweight. It cannot do anything right.EDIT: It is not recognized on a mac. Figures.
Note that it's also possible that the issue I'm experiencing is a software rather than a hardware issue, but given that I'm unable to install the necessary drivers for support of my device, I assume it's a hardware incompatibility.
Edit 12/29/09: I received my new adapter and confirmed that the problems I was experiencing were hardware related this device either does not support A2DP, or simply doesn't support audio devices at all. Audio devices you pair with your computer will appear as installed devices, but will not be available to Windows as playback devices, so you won't get any sound from them.

The hardware is cheap feeling.However the REAL con is the SOFTWARE. No driver support outside of bluesoleil. Ever heard of it? I hope not because god its a headache. Not only is it NOT FREE (yeah seriously, essentially a TRIAL edition driver...) but it's awful clunky and doesn't let you fully utilize your device. So in the end, you'll end up paying more for the crappy software, crappy support, and weak hardware.
Save your money and buy a linksys etc. Not to mention this device's bluetooth class is the short choppy range type. You could step up a class in the 20 dollar range and have something that has 3-5 times the range.
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PIECE OF ... HARDWARE.
I hope Bluesoleil honestly goes out of business for the gimmick scam. It's disenfranchising the wonderful thing bluetooth could be. I'll be doing my best to get a return. Wish me luck.

No drivers with mine supposed to use the generic drivers according to the sales folks and they know nothing beyond plug and play... here is how to make it work on XP SP3 and Microsoft BT mouse.Uninstall any other bluetooth drivers and installations if you have had any other devices installed. Then plug this little flea in and once it says it is up and running you have to then change some service settings. FUN!!!!
press WIN+R type "services.msc
scroll to "Bluetooth Support Service" and double click
Make sure it is set to Automatic on the first tab then click on the "Log On" tab.
Select "Local System account" and also the check box below that (Allow service....)
Restart the service by going back to the first tab and clicking stop, then start.
Remove and reinsert the dongle (in a different port will sometimes help) then try to pair again using 0000 as the vendor provided pass code (if you are using a microsoft BT mouse or something similar)

I use Linux as my primary operating system (Fedora 14) and after plugging in the Bluetooth Adapter to an available USB port, the device worked great. I was able to transfer files from my phone to my computer and vice-versa; the drivers must have been included with the operating system. As far as Bluetooth headsets/speakers, I really don't know. ordered it and received it after i got my new cartridge and headshell. so, ended up using it to check my alignment after the fact. there are two points, A & B that you place your stylus on. small grids around those points makes for a busy visual against the mirrored backdrop. basically, i had to use my guide light and kneel down to the turntable to see where the stylus was in relation to the points. then, stand up to see how parallel my cartridge was against the grid lines.easy to use, clear instructions, good concept and good results. my eyeball installation was close, this tool got me into perfect territory.

First the mirror both helps and hurts you. It helps by getting you lined up. It hurts you for stylus alignment. The lines reflect in the mirror. Thus you have to be right over the cartridge. I had a paper card that came with the turntable years ago that did the same thing. Using this tool comfirmed that my cartridge alignment was perfect. Cartridge alignment is very important for sound quality. I am converting my albums to CD. And the playback is amaizing. I recomend it because it is of good quality and it works. I tried a couple paperboard protractors, but this one's a bit better. It's important to read the instructions and understand them. Being able to look from both sides and straight down is important. Seiko Thumboard Keyboard for Palm m500
This is perfect for people on the go.I tried the Palm Portable Keyboard (The folding one), but it requires a hard flat surface, something hard to find on a crowded WMATA Bus or subway car. The Thumboard is not as fast as the Palm Portable Keyboard at a desk, but the Keyboard cannot be used in a car, bus, or subway without carrying a lap desk with you. Even at a desk, since my Palm V is not a laptop computer, I had a hard time reading the small display when using the Palm Portable Keyboard. Since the Thumboard does not require a hard surface, I can hold my PDA close to better read what I am typing.
My Graffiti writing is currently faster than the Thumboard, but I have trouble with Graffiti recognizing my handwriting on a bouncy bus or the stuttering stops of a subway car. I can enter data much faster on a bus or subway just because of the reduction of errors.
The Thumboard is better than the built-in screen keyboard since it includes very useful characters such as the shortcut character (a cursive lower case L). Since it clicks to the bottom of your PDA, you can also use two thumbs to type.
I have friends who claim to have worn out their PDA's Graffiti writing area, but I have never had a problem. For the inexpensive price of this Thumboard, you don't have to worry about wearing out the writing area on your expensive PDA.
The reason I gave this product a 4 instead of a 5 is the Palm OS. Currently Palm OS does not support external keyboards, so this great product requires a Hack (change to the Palm OS itself), there are several shareware programs on my Palm m500 that I cannot live without (DateBk4-an improved calendar, PocketQuickena finance program, HanDbasea database, and TakeNote!a text/word processor). At least one of these programs conflicts with the Thumboard Hack. If Palm includes keyboard expansion in future versions of its OS, I will be very happy. Currently I have ordered a Thumboard for my back up PDAa Palm Vthat I use for grocery shopping.
A last note, both of my PDAs have molded hard cases. I have to remove them to use the Thumboard (but I had to remove them to use the Palm Portable Keyboard). When I purchased the Thumboard Seiko offered a free carrying case that held the PDA with the Thumboard still attached. If this is an issue for you, check that the Thumboard can click onto your PDA while still in its carrying case and/or the PDA with the Thumboard attached still fits inside your carrying case.

After a couple of days, I'm falling in love. This keyboard has a lot of advantages over other 'portable' keyboards.
Size: Truly portable. Comparing it my friend's Stowaway, this thing just takes the cake.
Location: If you don't know yet, you slip this over the bottom of your handheld (in my case Visor). It stays in place remarkably well. It's rounded sides and larger profile, makes typing easy because the handheld is easier to hold.
Construction: Yes, it's plastic, but it's well made plastic. Everything has clean finished edges. I flexed my in my hand and it creaked a little bit, but not like it was going to fall apart suddenly.
In conclusion, I give this tiny but powerful keyboard four stars. It would have earned the coveted five star rating if it's keys were just a smudge bigger, or spaced out a bit more. If you have small fingers and great fine motor skills, you'll be typing out page-long emails in no time.

I was a also a bit dubious about the usability of this product. And living in the UK it meant I had to post it to my mate Rick in Philly, and he posted it on to me! Anyway, when it arrived I was pleased in all respects. The size is good, the built quality seems fine, the keys response was good (not too spongy if that's a word), and the main thing the response time is immediate. I was worried that you would need to s-l-o-w down the typing speed in order to allow the software to keep up, but last night I was merrily typing in telephone numbers and never found I was going to fast. While its a bit of a clunky unit to use ALL the time, its fine to keep in your bag, and when the thought of typing a long e-mail using Graphiti (how DO you spell it?) seems a bit daunting, just plug this in, and away you go. My advice is to NOT buy this keyboard, even for $10.You must install the drivers for the keyboard onto your PDA; the only problem with doing this is that the drivers to be loaded come ON A FLOPPY DISC!!!
How many customers still have a computer that still accepts floppies? I sure don't, so now I have a $10 mini boat anchor or coaster.

I have tried this microphone with several devices and it does not work. At one point I thought that I got it working by not inserting the plug completely into the jack but I discovered that instead, what was happening was that the device's internal microphone was still active. I suspect that this is a defective unit but I waited for some time before fully testing this mic after I bought it so that I suspect it is no longer under warranty although I'll check with the manufacturer if I can find a way to contact them.Save 48% Off

Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i Instant PDF Sheet-Fed Mobile Document Scanner
As you've probably seen, the original Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 Scanner (PA03603-B005) has received great reviews here on Amazon. So what's this S1300i (notice the "i") all about?What's New?
Basically, it's just faster, up to 1.5x faster (up to 12 double-sided color pages per minute) than the original S1300 model. Everything else seems to be the same. Fujitsu boasts some new software features, but from what I understand, these features are also available to the original S1300 through a software update:
Scan to mobile: you still need to have your ScanSnap connected to your computer and your computer powered on, but you can easily transfer scans to your iOS or Android device over WiFi
Scan to DropBox: Technically, you could do this before since you could just set your destination folder to your DropBox folder, but now DropBox is directly supported
ScanSnap Folder (PC-only): This sets up a temporary folder that allows you to then quickly attach a scan to a program that is not directly support. For example, if you wanted to e-mail a receipt through G-Mail's web interface, you would scan it to the ScanSnap Folder, then attach it from G-Mail's website. The folder automatically deletes the document after a configurable number of days.
PROs
+ This thing can handle pretty much everything I throw at it: receipts, forms, photos, even old greeting cards. Some things you can't scan include anything with whiteout or a sticky substance on it since it can get caught in the rollers or smear up the scanning glass (although, these things can be cleaned). Even though a document feeds in crooked, the software does a great job correcting the slant in most cases.
+ You can power it with two USB ports, although scanning is a bit slower compared to when it is powered by the AC adapter.
+ Scanning directly to Evernote is awesome: just select Evernote from the Quick Menu that displays after the scan and your document appears in the Evernote application instantly
+ It works with Macs and Windows and includes software for both (there are some differences, such as ScanSnap's Organizer program which is PC-only)
+ Paper jams are easy to clear by just opening up the front flap
+ Front and back scanning in one pass is amazing! The software can intelligently distinguish if a document is one-sided and then removes the blank pages from your scan
+ This thing is sturdy! I wasn't expecting it to be as heavy as it is, which is a good thing. When folded up, this thing is a solid brick.
CONs
OCR (converting the document into usable text) can take a while to process after scanning (my multifunction printer/scanner seems to handle OCR a lot quicker, albeit less accurately than the ScanSnap)
It can't handle a huge stack of documents (maybe about 10-15 pages), but it's fairly easy to "sneak" a few pages in at the end while it's running. UPDATE: Thanks to Andrei in the comments for pointing out that the software can be configured to prompt you if you want to add additional scans to the current document.
Overall, if you're looking to go paperless in your home or office, you can't go wrong with the ScanSnap 1300i!
If you are looking for a scanner that is fast, easy to set up, reliable and comes with a lot of options for output then the 1300i is what you are looking for.
I use to own a Neat scanner and nothing against them, but the 1300i is so much faster and easier, plus it comes with much better output options. I like that I can output to Evernote or to Word or Excel and it really is super fast. The OCR software works as advertised and the set up was super easy.
My only "complaint" is the feeder only holds as small amount of sheets but then again it isn't advertised as having a huge sheet feeder.
I really like this scanner and while it's not as cheap as a flatbed scanner it is far more useful (especially since it does both sides of the paper).
As you can tell I am completely sold on the 1300i, so much so that it got me to write my first product review on Amazon after buying products here for years!

This product is amazing and handy and light and... I cannot say enough good things about it. I am in the process of scanning in our photographs from years ago, and the choices for compression and colors, etc is amazing. The files can be as big or as small as you like. And, you can create profiles for each different scanning type you wish to perform.Works great for scanning directly to Evernote, too. We are moving to being a paperless (or reduced!) household. Get this! And I don't think you need to spend the cash on the 1500. IMO.

I bought the Fujitsu S1300i ScanSnap Scanner after doing research and reading the reviews on Amazon. I specifically needed to scan product/price lists into Excel to make pivot tables for my business. I had tried the free demo version of Abbyy FineReader on my slow flatbed scanner, and it worked perfectly. Since Fujitsu's advertising says that with the included Abbyy FineReader software, you can "scan to Excel" this purchase seemed like an ideal solution.The scanner itself works fine, if all you want to do is convert paper to PDF files. The paper-straightening function is especially good for small items. But, the software Fujitsu provides is pitiful! Once the sheets are scanned, and the ScanSnap does so quickly, it takes anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds to process. Then you must go through a laborious multi-step procedure to declare where to save the file. No pre-sets to send it directly to where you want. So while scanning itself is smooth and effortless, the software slows the process down to a crawl.
The business card software has a "database" that is limited to the person's name, business name, e-mail, phone and fax numbers. No way to add useless information like an address. Have fun transferring it to Outlook!
With regard to my original application, Fujitsu's claim that you can scan to Excel is not only misleading, it borders on being fraudulent. Yes, you can scan into an Excel file. But the results are useless garbage. From a six-column product sheet that is already formatted as a table, the first two columns appear in Excel correctly, the second two are placed below the first two and they appear one below the other with extra rows inserted between them. The last two columns appear below the others. Multiple pages appear in this same format. Scanned into Word, the information appears lovely, but it cutting and pasting it into Excel yields the same results. Ditto for cutting and pasting from a .pdf file. Even if cutting and pasting worked, I bought the scanner to save time, not to expend more.
Surely there must be some setting that will make this right! I called Abbyy. They were pleasant but told me that they had sold the software to Fujitsu and did not support it. Any software Abbyy supports requires a scanner with TWAIN driver. If I needed help, I would need to speak to the folks at Fujitsu. The agent at Fujitsu seemed bored by my problem. He suggested I try changing the one and only setting that the ScanSnap version of FineReader allows. (Duh! I had already tried this with no success.) There is no ability to choose areas of the document to scan, as there is with even the demo version of FineReader. It's impossible to get the results I need from this software. Well, I'd have to spend the extra money and buy FineReader from Abbyy and connect it to the scanner with a TWAIN driver. Fujitsu informed me that NONE of their ScanSnap line has TWAIN drivers. If I wanted a scanner with TWAIN driver from them, I could take my pick from another line of $600-$1200 scanners.
So, dear reader, if you are considering buying any ScanSnap scanner, be warned. Their scanners work ONLY with the proprietary driver and software that Fujitsu supplies. Their advertising uses the names of other software companies, but the Fujitsu version is stripped down to osteoporosis-eroded bones. And once Fujitsu has your money, they could care less whether their product meets your needs or not!

I am using the Fujitsu S1300i on a Macintosh. S1300i was easy to set up and comes with cords of a reasonable length. It does a reasonable job of accepting papers and receipts and the holding tray resizes reasonably well. It sometimes struggles to grab receipts well if they have an uneven bottom and receipts sometimes need to be tended as they are grabbed by the machine, but aside from not having more than one roller-grabber (a flaw in my eyes) I'm not sure what could have helped much with this. It scans quickly and has good quality based on the file size/readability tradeoff you have in mind. OCR also works great. For the most part I am satisfied with the performance of this unit (though I do think there is room in the market for something magnificent--something which doesn't yet exist).I am fairly disappointed with the software, though none of the flaws are so terrible that I regret my purchase. If I used this product extensively on a day-to-day basis this would bother me much more. For example, there are multiple scan-to options and I haven't found an option to streamline this process by defaulting to one (which would be nice if you've hired it for one task). If a scan works out poorly there's no immediate cancel/delete option that I have seen. There's no way to easily accept input and store to a file after scanning that I have discovered. The best I have managed is to tab from a focus on file naming options and hit enter to store the scanned document. A keyboard shortcut or a simple return would have been preferable. In general, the interface works to accomplish everything but rarely goes the extra mile to make a feature particularly easy or streamlined to work with. As another example of this, you can create your own file-name formats, but they do not honor the automatic date symbols used by the default options. I do appreciate that it does not try to force some proprietary file-management system on me.
All said, I would consider this product to be adequate to good and, after experimenting with and researching some competing devices, that leaves this product among the highest tier of document scanners available anywhere near this price range. If you're looking for this sort of product I would be happy to recommend it. If someone comes along and creates the high-quality document scanner which focuses on good customer experience and quality from top to bottom it could easily land well ahead of this product in terms of quality and workflow.

When feeding receipts sometimes the papers need to be guided a little for proper feeding.
Two grabber-rollers would have resulted in less paper tugged in at an angle.

PalmOne V Slim Leather Carrying Case
I have put away my old wallet and converted to this Palm leather case. My old wallet size is about the same as my Palm Vx in this leather case (but without a lot of junk I used to keep in my old wallet). The rubber spine that holds the Palm Vx in place seems like it could tear if you frequently remove the unit from the case. I just leave it in the case and fold the flaps back for hot-syncing.TIP: I find that it's best to slide the Palm Vx in the case so that the screen faces the flap without the card holders. If you put it in the way shown in the picture, your screen may get scratched from any credit cards you might have in the holders.
I wish they put a transparent ID card holder in this case. That's one thing I miss. It would also be nice if they had sewn in a spring-loaded mechanism that snaps the covers shut or open so that you wouldn't need the leather strip and loop to keep it closed.
Overall, it's a nice slim design that keeps the bulge if your pocket to a minimum.

This is a high quality leather case for the Palm V. This product can eliminate the need to carry a wallet and the Palm V. You can the case up with a credit card and drivers' license. Unlike my other reviews which usually take up a page or so, this product is rather straight forward. First and foremost I must say that this case sure beats the hell out of the hard case, which is also manufactured by 3Com, in both form and function. Second it can hold credit cards and money to be used as a second wallet, although it is not a great idea to use it as a primary substitute. And thirdly, the hard case is about ten dollars more than the leather case and is not nearly as good.However, like all things, it does have it's downsides. It's biggest flaw, like with other cases, is that it makes placing the Palm in the craddle (while still in the case) a little more difficult. You basically need to place the craddle up on something (upside-down cup for example) and pull back both sides of the case all the way and then you can recharge. Secondly, the pockets are made so stiff inside that it is very tricky to get both money or credit cards into or out of the pockets, which is why you might want to stick to a regular wallet. And thirdly, if you place the cased palm in a tight space like a bag or something, there is a chance that the edge of the case will hit the power button and cause it to turn on. This is not a big deal since it will shut off automatically after a minute or so, however it can become annoying when you haven't charged your palm in a while and you find that your battery is dying for some strange reason.
All in all, you can't do much better than this case for only $19.95, and while there may be more expensive cases on the market, they are all variations of this simple design. However, I would say that it would be nice it 3Com or Palm would make a case like this that went all the way around the palm for protection on all sides, since something can get caught between your palm and the case and end up scratching the screen (which almost happened to me).
Final thoughts: nice leather, don't expect it to take the same beating as the hard case, but unless you plan to go hiking with your palm, don't shovel out the extra ten bucks for a shoddy hard case, get this nice leather one instead.

This was the first case that i had for my Palm. There is no doubt that it a good case and it looks really nice with the Vx. With the case on, it very little to the overall size of the palm. The silo design of the Vx which allows you to attach the case to the palm was ingenious. It a huge leap in case design compared to the velcro concept of may PDA's.As for this case it is made of high quality leather and it a loop/strap design that i also liked. Velcro and the button proved that after prolonged use, it tends to rip. The loop/strap design secures the case very well and it still looks very elegant.
However like many leather products, they tend to warp and deform after a while. Just think of your wallet and how deformed that can get. If your going to be putting it in your pocket a lot, i suggest you go with the hard case. However if your going to be putting it in a bag or brief case, then this case will be fine.
Although the case has slots for credit cards or business cards, realistically you wouldnt want to put more than two credit card and 3 business cards in it at one time. It does a lot to the bulkiness of the case. Personally I only carried 4 business cards in it at one time.
Reatively speaking i wanted a case that was smaller then this one because it got a little too big for my pockets, whether it be the shirt or pant pocket. i found that not only was the hardcase by palm smaller and almost weighed as much, it also protected it just as well.
Also the fact that the powerbutton was often times turn on when using the leather case convinced me to change to the hard case.
Dont get me wrong. I really like this case. The hard case just fit my needs for a case a lot better then the slim leather case.
The best thing i can suggest is to try both of them out before you actually buy it. A lot of stores will let you try on the case. Thats really the best way to determine which one will really work for you.
I wonder if this will fit the m500 series... hmmm....

Very happy with the case itself, but I do not like the clip it came with. The clip does not open very far and it is very bulky. It took a long time to get because it came from China, but I still received it earlier than was expected and it works great with the Blackberry Torch. I would recommend this if you are not planning on using the clip.

Case is great quality, was delivered earlier than expected... But sadly I cannot put it to use as the placement of the magnets freezes up my blackberry torch.I tried removing the magnets in the back of the case and one in the front under the logo on the flap. Still no good. My phone works fine out of the case but as soon as I encase it the touch screen becomes frozen... After purchasing this product it took a long time to get to it destination. In addition, the case has a magnetic front that messes up the phone. At first I thought it was just phone and went to my carrier and couldn't figure it out what was wrong. So I decided to remove it from the case for a week. During that week, my phone did not act up at all. While in the carrier, the phone would freeze or turn off by it self but now it work just fine. Such a waste of $30 for this case to just sit there being useless. Unfortunately, this company is in Hong Kong and it would cost the same to return it. Live and learn. Be careful before buying this item....

I've owned two of these. Within a few weeks after acquiring the first, some of the the keys on the integrated keyboard began coming lose on a regular basis, at which point I exchanged the item for another which I've now owned for about nine months. The lettering on the new case which identifies the purpose of the switches which turn the unit on and off and active the connection of the keyboard to your iPad by bluetooth has worn off and is now unreadable, and the leatherette is debonding and peeling away from the corners of the case.

Great option if you want some scratch protection on your iPad. This leather skin is functional, and does so without adding bulk. I have used it for about 6 months, and it still hasn't shown any wear. Note that I occasionally put this in a DODOcase, and it fits in it, even with the skin on. Matches well with Apple's leather smart cover. Received a day early! Very happy with this skin! Ultra thin, easy to apply, removable, and a realistic faux alligator pattern. While this is just a skin offering no protection if it falls, it does offer just enough of a hand on the iPad itself. It is actual leather and even has an aroma. Would be great to see other "exotic" leathers, like the ostrich they had for the original iPad.Definitely would recommend, and now I think I'll have to fine a ZAGG leatherskin for my phone!
